Gabon:
An oil platform capsizes and sinks; three dead, two missing Three people have died following the sinking of an oil platform off the coast of Gabon, while the fate of two others—currently reported as missing—remains unknown.
This is according to the news portal Info241. The platform capsized and sank on the evening of October 24 in the Gulf of Guinea, near the town of Mayumba.
Of the 115 people on board at the time of the disaster, 110 have been rescued.
