EUR 28.6m of bank financing signed today to take Lords of the Fallen II all the way to launch. No new shares, no publisher taking a cut. I've locked up every share I own for the full term.

Phantom Blade Zero just hit ~724k concurrent on Steam.
Not open world. Still pulled massive numbers.
China-heavy launch, but clear proof the appetite for high-quality, demanding action is there without needing a full open world.
Soulslikes with strong identity and co-op have their own path. Watching closely.
This is a huge humiliation for the Western gaming industry at the hands of IGN China. But honestly, they have a point.
The Western industry seems to be losing its way, with massive budgets and corporate decisions and political agenda taking priority over just what gamers want, fun gameplay.
Phantom Blade Zero shows that sometimes it’s really simple: make a game that’s fun to play, and people will play it

Several years ago, i was picked up by a an indie publishing house. Signed contracts, etc. I never thought id make a living off my writing. Which i dont. I have a real job, but I do sell enough for the publisher to keep me signed. Point is, have fun, dont think about the money
