Twitter research - has anyone seen any #1921Census entries where a woman has been listed as 'Out of Work'? In the very small sample I've seen it has only been men. Women listing an employer appear to be in work. @UkNatArchives @findmypast @r_m_meredith
I'm noticing several of the younger men in my family are 'out of work' even if they've given the name of an employer (so laid off?) Many of the single women of the same age appear to working. #1921Census
