‼️Sky News has obtained exclusive drone footage documenting how Russian forces exploited the evacuation of civilians from occupied Oleshky for military purposes.
Before, during and after humanitarian corridor, Russian troops were moving heavy military equipment, weapons, ammunition, personnel and supplies into Oleshky and nearby villages.
They searched civilian homes for basements to establish new military positions, retook previously lost positions and removed the bodies of civilians killed by shelling and mines from the morgue, apparently to cover up evidence.
This is how Russia uses humanitarian evacuations.

Two drone evacuations in one week: CODE 9.2 fighters rescue wounded Defenders from the battlefield using StarGate UAVs.
The 129th Brigade contacted CODE 9.2 for help evacuating wounded Defenders. Due to difficult terrain and the threat of FPV drones, reaching them by land was impossible. The only option was an aerial route.
Over the course of a week, CODE 9.2 planned and successfully carried out two evacuation missions. During one of them, a StarGate UAV travelled nearly 30 km to reach a wounded Warrior’s position and covered the same distance on the return flight, with the Warrior on board. The drone was manufactured by SkyFall, and its development took a year.
During the mission, Russian forces attempted to jam satellite navigation signals using electronic warfare systems. However, thanks to its AI-based navigation system and the pilots’ expertise, the drone continued its mission.
Among those rescued were 25-year-old Yevhen, callsign “Izium,” and 24-year-old Artem, callsign “Kolobok.”
Oleksandr Nastenko, callsign “Flint,” commander of the 475th Separate Assault Regiment “CODE 9.2,” stressed that the priority now is to scale up this experience and make such missions standard practice.

Freedom of Movement is NOT freedom to stay unconditionally.
EU countries are within their rights to apply conditions eg employment after 3 months etc.
So the idea that 500m people could come to the UK and live on benefits is a lie.

Or a 70-year-old wanting to spend more time with family?
Freedom of Movement isn't a youth benefit.
It's a freedom for people of every age.

Because Brexit forced everyone to make life changing decisions.
You made people choose between “here”or “there” and even incentivised people to stay by threatening to remove the status if they leave for too long.
So they stayed. For now at least.
Can you blame them?
If you’d left mutual Freedom of Movement in place people would be free to come and go fluidly as life suits them.
The government you were part of threw away a mutual, reciprocal system that benefited us and replaced it with a one way immigration system that leads to more permanent settlement and omitted the short term flexibility that’s so valuable to young Brits and those of us who work cross-border.
Counterintuitive perhaps, but ending mutual Freedom of Movement probably led to more permanent “forever” immigration into the UK.
Moreover it gives the UK no control or influence over the rights Brits have to live/work/study/retire/travel elsewhere
as those are now sovereign decisions for other countries.
You and I both went to the same school where I studied languages before going on to do languages at university.
Freedom of Movement gave me access to a year abroad teaching English and a good career living and working across Europe cross-border.
Now that’s difficult to do thanks to Brexit and losing my Freedom of Movement.
I am really delighted @andyburnham is open to restoring Freedom of Movement and I hope that the work I’ve been doing with @savefom and @euromove will eventually be fruitful.

The speed limits on Starlink and Starshield are still there. The speed has not been restored. And the delivery of interceptors to protect us against Russian ballistic missiles is still delayed. We’re waiting for interceptors that were already agreed on. But they are still not coming. This is a real problem, because the Russians attack us almost every single day.
All of this is happening while we continue our quite successful operations on the front. We keep defending positions. Things have become harder – partly because of the Starlink and Starshield policies and speed limits. But our frontline is still holding and I am proud of how strong our people are.
