We literally have the best Governor in the country. He heard us and made it happen. What an honor to the late country legend. We will miss you John Anderson.
Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida.
I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage.
In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.

Admit it: when Ferris Bueller changed his grades, you briefly considered what your own school’s computer system was like.

What people are missing here is that companies do this sort of phishing test on their employees all the time. It is done to test their cyber security training and practices to ensure employees are adhering to policy designed to protect corporate data. Most breaches happen when employees click on links or attachments from emails and scammers are sophisticated enough to hit with a fake email with a subject that might illicit a response.

John Anderson was not created in a lab. He wasn’t the product of a focus group or an “innovative” executive.
John Anderson was disciplined when it came to his style and his music. He was real and unique.
John Anderson was simply an awesome country music talent. One of the best.

There’s no way to put into words how sad we are to that our old friend John Anderson has passed away. Not only do we consider him one of the greatest singers ever and the writer of some of our favorite songs, but more than that, we consider him a brother. Our friendship with John goes all the way back to the neighborhood where we grew up and the playground across the field from his house where everyone played. It goes back to our first trip to Nashville, when John offered us wise advice and brotherly support. All of that is why every time we got to share a stage with John, it felt like we were home.
We’re sending our prayers to John’s family, who he so dearly loved. May God offer extra comfort and peace to them.
John, old friend, you once sang a line that said, “I’m just an old chunk of coal—but I’m gonna be a diamond someday”—you are indeed that diamond today. Rest well at home with Jesus.
Governor, please push for Seminole Wind to be the official state song of Florida. It beautifully captures the essence of Florida’s history and would be a great honor to a Florida music legend.

John Anderson, whose unmistakable voice helped make him a country music legend, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday at age 71, his family said.
@anthonymasoncbs, who spoke with Anderson in 2022, after a mysterious illness “almost completely” took away the singer-songwriter’s hearing, takes a look at his legacy.

RIP to a great country artist and the pride of Apopka, FL, John Anderson.
“Seminole Wind” is one of the best songs of all-time about Florida.

Your favorite singers cry in their breakup songs, mine drop bangers like this. We are not the same
People are retarded. The Falcons owner is Jewish. The PFP is the original colors of the team’s helmet and logo from 1966. I swear people are getting dumber by the days

. @RonDeSantis should consider making "Seminole Wind" the official state song of Florida. John Anderson captured the spirit of this state in his song, and was a native born Floridian. Gov DeSantis, would you consider making that happen? A bunch of us would fly down if you would.
RIP to a country legend. We all loved “Swingin”, “Straight Tequila Night”, and “Seminole Wind” but my favorite John Anderson song is this sweet little number from 1993. Reminds me so much growing up where Dad wasn’t always there (due to AF enlistment) even though he always wanted to be.
