Copilot Chat now works INSIDE Outlook shared and delegated mailboxes. Open the team mailbox. Open Copilot Chat. Ask for: Urgent threads Customer commitments Unanswered requests Draft replies No account switch. No mailbox address in every prompt. Permissions still apply. Your chat history stays private. Sending, deleting, flagging and rules are still manual. Save the prompt below 👇

✨ Review messages received in this shared mailbox since [DATE AND TIME]. Return: 1. Requests requiring a response 2. Explicit deadlines and commitments 3. Customer issues or complaints 4. Messages waiting on someone inside our organization 5. Messages waiting on the sender 6. Informational messages requiring no action 7. Threads where the required action is unclear For each item, include: - Subject - Sender - Received date - Required action - Explicit owner - Explicit deadline - Recommended next step Do not infer an owner, deadline or urgency. Label missing information as Unconfirmed. Do not send, move, delete, categorize, pin or flag anything. After the review, ask me which replies you should draft. ✨

With Plugins and Skills expanding across Copilot, I’d be checking this setting NOW. Microsoft 365 admin center > Agents > Settings > Agent and plugin access Choose which publishers users can install apps, agents and plugins from: - Microsoft - Your organization - External publishers, with a certified-only option If you’re responsible for the Copilot rollout, you should know exactly what’s allowed here.

Copilot Code is coming!! Get READY 👀 The Frontier controls are already showing up in the M365 admin center. LETS GOO!! GitHub connections, business context, agent execution, automatic approvals. I expect a LOT of people to build their first internal app with this. Who needs a Day 1 guide?

Copilot Studio just got a FOURTH harness. A dedicated runtime for customer-facing voice and chat agents. An alternative to the standard harness. Now THIS is what got me excited about Microsoft’s Contact Center Intelligence announcement. The new Customer Conversation harness brings: > Generative skills mixed with deterministic topics. > Specialist sub-agents with their own knowledge and tools. > Memory and MCP support. > Built-in handoff to human representatives. Through Contact Center Intelligence, these capabilities can connect into existing contact centers, including third-party platforms. Public preview. Agentic capabilities billed through Copilot Credits. I want to test this with a customer changing their mind halfway through a request, asking an unrelated question, then needing a human. Keeping that conversation together is where this gets interesting. microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics…

SharePoint can build a full page section from the work behind it. Open a page: Copilot > Create a Section Ground it in: > Project plan > Status update > Meeting transcript > Decision log Copilot generates the content AND layout. Switch between options. Refine it. Add to page. Turn project evidence into the project page. Example prompt below 👇

✨ Create an executive project status section using the files I attached and the existing content on this page. Include: 1. Overall project status with a source-supported explanation 2. Confirmed milestones and dates 3. Decisions already confirmed 4. Decisions still required 5. The top risks and their documented mitigations 6. Actions with explicitly named owners and deadlines 7. Missing or conflicting information Do not infer an approval, owner, deadline or project status. Label unsupported information as Unconfirmed. Layout: - Executive summary at the top - Status cards for milestones, decisions, risks and actions - A concise action table at the bottom - Match the visual style of the existing page Include the supporting source name beside every decision, date and action. ✨

Before we blame Copilot Credit pricing, can we discuss why “hello” sends your Copilot Studio agent through the entire employee handbook?

Just spotted Education for Cowork. Created by Microsoft. 👀 The plugin lists skills for: > Accessible learning materials > AI rollouts across schools > Classroom discussion insights > Accreditation evidence Plus governance reviews, substitute packs and policy rollouts. The recurring work behind running a school is a HUGE target for agents. This week is all about plugins 🔌

OneDrive is getting CUSTOM SKILLS. Yes, OneDrive. Microsoft’s OneDrive + Copilot event brought some serious upgrades: > Analyze multiple spreadsheets and generate charts. > Organize messy project folders with Copilot. > Create interactive HTML reports. > Save repeatable processes as Markdown skills. > Edit HTML and collaborate on Markdown. > Sync up to 1 MILLION items on Windows and Mac. Plus Hero Links: update permissions without sending everyone a new URL. Availability varies by feature. The reusable skills are what I want to test first. Rebuilding the same report every month gets old FAST. If you missed the event yesterday, watch the full event and demos 👇 aka.ms/OneDriveEvent/Playlis…

Copilot Cowork just got a serious upgrade. PROJECTS are here! Give each project its own instructions. Keep the project context together. Find the files created by its tasks under Outputs. Client engagements. App builds. Content production. When you’re handing real work to an agent, the instructions and context deserve as much attention as the prompt. This update was long overdue. LET’S GOO!

Using AI to decide whether a Dataverse field equals “Approved” is certainly a way to support the AI economy.

Microsoft is RETIRING Critique and Council inside Copilot Researcher. Critique had Claude review GPT’s report. Council ran GPT and Claude in parallel. Both Frontier previews start disappearing in late October. Retirement completes by November 14. Researcher and Analyst remain. I still want models challenging each other before the answer reaches me. Retire the modes. Keep the second opinion. mc.merill.net/message/MC1515…

5/6 One detail people will miss: Sales for Cowork and Service for Cowork are separate from the Dynamics 365 plugins. Sales for Cowork includes CRM-agnostic skills that work with uploaded data. You don’t need a Dynamics 365 license for those skills.

6/6 Find them in Copilot Cowork: Open Customize > Plugins and search for: > Sales for Cowork > Service for Cowork > Legal for Cowork Open the plugin and select Install. Then use / to choose a skill. Which one are you trying first?
