Why do I only plot the 4H open when Asia begins at 3 PM? Because I’m not trying to predict price. I’m establishing the battlefield. The 4H open gives me a controlling level. There's a difference between selling because price is falling and selling because buyers FAILED at a meaningful level. One is chasing price. The other is reading structure. Wait for the retest. Watch the defense. Trade the failure.

The 30M does not have to agree with the 4H structure immediately. In fact, the opposing 30M movement can create the opportunity.

When you recognize the auction before the reclaim and catch the FLUSH with expansion! The market gives clues before the move. Buyers lose control. Structure starts breaking. Sellers defend every attempt to recover. Sometimes the entry comes before the textbook confirmation. But understand something... Early entries require tighter risk discipline, not bigger confidence. The Retest Trap Just because price returns to a level doesn't mean it's a valid retest. A proper retest needs context. What was reclaimed? Which timeframe confirmed acceptance? Who defended the level? Without those answers, you're trading a touch, not a setup.

RETEST & DEFENSE — Price returns to the level, and buyers or sellers prove they can defend it. 4. EXPANSION — Price moves away from the defended level. Of all four steps, RETEST & DEFENSE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. A reclaim can fail. Acceptance can reverse.
