Ok i’ve been rereading @naval this week and honestly half of his stuff is better investing advice than most investing books
so here are 15 lessons from naval that every investor should hear. some of these hurt a little 🧵
Jack Dorsey is a knobhead. Not said nearly enough.
He's wrong, and that is such an unoriginal take.
The moat is in available data, which is why $GOOGL and $META are prime candidates to win the long game. It's also in the ability to acquire and operate compute at sufficient scale.
This dumb hot take usually means the algorithms are open. So is Google's original graph algorithm, yet multiple Googles do not exist.

''ASML IS DIRT CHEAP!''
$ASML their current spike is 100% due to memory / $TSM. This might be a supercycle, but there will be a peak. Anyone who thinks this is a straight-up line for 10 years must look beyond the initial AI buildout phase.
My theory could be a rise of robotics in 30's, probably all robots, all autonomous vehicles need chips, but do they need EUV?
Not sure. Perhaps?
The goal is not to sell subscriptions, the goal is not to turn a profit. The goal is to create a product that completely upends the entire global economy. The goal is to create superintelligence.
It's like a cancer, just grow.
This is why you should never buy the first generation of any product line.
It always has some weird problem, and the second generation is miles ahead with all the problems fixed.

A former $ADBE employee posted the following on Reddit.
Read it and get out of the business if you're still holding the bag.
It's MUCH worse than you think.

This is just my experience from working there, and obviously I could be biased. But based on what I saw, I personally do not see Adobe as the value stock that many people here seem to think it is.
Have a nice day.
