Trump may be riding high in the polls now thanks to name recognition but when Evangelicals find out some of the more unsavory details of his personal life his support is going to collapse.

Congratulations to @FOXCorp and @0xPolygonLabs on the launch of Verify, a blockchain-based tool for media provenance! #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #blockchain #web3
With the rise of AI tools and AI-generated media, distinguishing truth from lies is difficult. Proving provenance and authenticity of any given piece of content is now more important than ever. That’s where Verify, by Fox Corporation (built on Polygon PoS), comes in. The public beta of Verify, an open source protocol for authenticating content, was launched today. This means any media company can register content, from articles to audio to images, and grant usage rights to AI platforms. Using the Verify tool, individual pieces of content are cryptographically signed on Polygon PoS, allowing consumers to identify content from trusted sources. Already, there are 89k+ pieces registered. As an evolution in source verification, Verify shows how the future of media can live onchain. Read more here, and learn how to access the platform: bit.ly/3tC8wxb

Clients both appreciate and need an ongoing dialogue as the dispute progresses to keep the full internal team (often up to the C-suite or board) apprised of the status, to adjust any business decisions accordingly, and for peace of mind. /8

🎨 There's a bit of an art to learning what, when, and how to effectively engage a litigation client in dialogue. But mastering this will deepen your partnership with that client and make you a much more effective litigator.

☀ For another, litigation decisions should not target winning at all costs but must focus on the client's needs, including risk appetite, cost sensitivity, business continuity, and keeping the client engaged in the process ensures that strategy focuses on business goals. /6

☀ Perhaps most importantly, the client often has much at stake, including public image, interruption to business, legal fees, and litigation risk. /7

☀ For one thing, litigation clients typically have much to offer in support of the process, ranging from independent strategy perspectives to location and content of relevant materials to insight on the underlying dispute narrative and beyond. /5

🚗 In contrast to transactional and other types of counseling, litigation resolves around a dispute resolution process running outside the client's business and tends to be driven by outside counsel. /2

In focusing on this dispute resolution process, it's easy for outside counsel to fall in the trap of meaningfully communicating with the client only as absolutely necessary, such as to obtain documents, signatures, or settlement authority. /3

💻 A growing number of judges require lawyers to disclose use of #AI. I'm skeptical that such rules are necessary or helpful, as use of legal AI tools doesn't obviate what should be a core tenant for lawyers (not to mention historians, journalists, academics, scientists): 🧵 /1

✔ Check, review, and understand the primary sources yourself. 📖 AI can be great to help find, synthetize, and summarize caselaw. But AI isn't perfect, and even when accurate, you'll understand caselaw and the issues more deeply if you read them yourself. /2
