A United Airlines flight carrying 150 passengers returned to Las Vegas late Saturday night after something a flight attendant spotted on a passenger’s phone prompted the pilots to lock down the cockpit.
The plane landed safely, with law enforcement requested at the gate. The FAA says it is investigating the incident. cbsnews.com/newyork/video/un…

A Boeing 777’s Jet Blast Just Flipped a Tractor-Trailer!✈️
This footage shows a tractor-trailer being blown over by a jet blast. As the aircraft’s engines spool up, the powerful exhaust hits the tractor-trailer with such a crazy force that the truck begins to lose its stability. The trailer is pushed violently, tips over and is thrown onto its side as the jet blast overwhelms it.
It is estimated that a single GE90-115B engine generates almost as much thrust as all four engines of a Boeing 747-200 combined. That is why incase one engine fails, one of these engines has enough power to safely lift, climb, and sustain a fully loaded 300-ton aircraft.✈️

Well, that was fun!
Nothing like cruising along at 39,000 feet and seeing a massive line of thunderstorms directly in your flight path!
Air Traffic Control gave us clearance to deviate up to 120 nautical miles left or right of our planned route to navigate around the weather. Ended up needing 94nm to the right with some zig zagging and then went left of course 48nm.
