Devastating doesn’t even do it justice. The idea we may never get another Mass Effect is an affront to video gaming
They had better announce in the next 3 years that they’re making a Star Wars Zero Company 2. I need more content for this game.

Doom: The Dark Ages review: A fast-paced, kill-to-survive FPS just like we’ve come to expect from this IP. I got the experience I came for going through the latest installment of Doom. It was playable and accessible for all gamer levels of difficulty.

It also is a very navigable game. The platforming is an addition rather than a burden. Backtracking is not tiresome or time consuming. Collectible gathering is something I had a pleasant time doing. The bosses & general enemies differed enough. Even with the emphasis on parries

My takeaway is that this game is a good way to destress with mindless demon slaughtering. And it knows that & doesn’t try to be anything more. I find myself having a good time getting a playthough in when Doom games release, and I’ll be looking forward to the next one

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 review: Thoroughly deserving of all the acclaim it received. This was a journey that I didn’t expect to find myself so entranced by its deep and layered world building during. I would recommend to anyone that even mildly enjoys turn based gameplay.

Another wonderful part about this game is the humor. It’s so refreshing how this game tackled loss & desperation, yet found ways to genuinely be funny frequently. It hardly ever took itself seriously. The gestrals were charming, & breaks felt so jovial in between the chaos.

While my 100% journey came to an end bc I couldn’t beat the final superboss without grinding the characters I didn’t use, I won’t let that stop me from appreciating this masterpiece this game was. I hope to find myself playing a similar game down the road by this studio.
