Haym Salomon (also spelled Solomon; c. 1740–1785).
He was a Polish-born Jewish immigrant and successful Philadelphia merchant/broker who became one of the key private financiers of the American Revolution. He worked with Robert Morris (Superintendent of Finance), brokered bills of exchange (including converting French and Dutch loans into usable currency), and personally advanced large sums to the Continental Congress, the Continental Army, and individual leaders such as James Madison.
Other Jewish figures from the period include:
Francis Salvador, a South Carolina planter/landowner and the first known Jew to die in the Revolutionary War (killed in 1776 fighting Loyalists and Cherokee allies).
Abigail Minis, a Georgia landowner and businesswoman who supported Patriot forces with supplies and funds.
Mordecai Sheftall, a Georgia merchant and the highest-ranking Jewish officer in the Continental forces (commissary role).

1. Sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust
2. Aggravated sexual assault on a client by a psychotherapists
She will serve out her sentence in the Colorado Dept of Corrections.
