So I am going over opening weekend sales numbers for Deadpool Vs Wolverine. It made just shy of $206 million domestically and it Broke the all time opening weekend records for the following: Rated R movie, all X-men movies (ever adjusted or not), July opening movies post 2020 (regardless of rating) and many many more. It also destroyed many MCU movies (every post 2020 MCU except Spider-Man NWH) and is already beating 20 MCU movies in all time sales and it is already closing in on a lot all time records. The demographic data came out as well, the majority of tickets sold were H’white males 36-45. We did it @douglasisadope! We told Hollywood if you want to make money again, stop with DEI bullshit and write a compelling story and we will pay to watch it, and I f you want to keep telling non-gendered BIPOC stories to virtue signal, we will sail the seven seas.
