Laken Riley had a Garmin smartwatch on when she was attacked Her heart rate jumped to 170 bpm which told investigators that was when she was being attacked It lasted for 17 minutes then suddenly stopped - that's when the animal finally killed her So the next time you want to tell me about how unfair illegal immigrants are being treated I want you to set a timer for 17 minutes and watch it go by so you can understand how long that young woman fought for her life

A Mexican Independence Day celebration was canceled in Passaic in September because of fears of ICE. Now Asbury Park canceled its Dia de los Muertos celebration for same reason. Maplewood is trying to cover costs for illegals out of municipal budget. NJ is crazy now.

Fun Fact: Cowperthwaite Rd runs through the middle of Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster.
John Cowperthwaite did more for human prosperity than any development economist drawing a government salary ever managed, and he did it by refusing to do almost anything at all. As Hong Kong's Financial Secretary from 1961 to 1971, Cowperthwaite ran one of the most radically free economies the modern world has ever seen. He kept taxes flat and low (the top income tax rate sat at 15%), ran consistent budget surpluses, abolished import tariffs, and blocked nearly every subsidy request that crossed his desk. When British civil servants demanded economic statistics to justify intervention, he refused to collect them. Not out of laziness. He genuinely believed that giving planners numbers gave them excuses. The results? In 1960, Hong Kong's per capita income stood at roughly 28% of Britain's. By 1997, Hong Kong had surpassed Britain. That trajectory happened without natural resources, without foreign aid, and without a single five-year plan drafted by well-intentioned economists from Oxford. Hong Kong had a harbor, people willing to work, and a bureaucrat with enough intellectual discipline to keep the state out of their way. Capital flows toward secure property rights and reliable rules, and flees the moment politicians start allocating it. Every industry Beijing picked as a "priority sector" during those same decades burned through subsidies and produced junk. Hong Kong's industries emerged organically, serving real demand, building real wealth. You benefit from this history whether you know it or not, because Hong Kong's success gave the world a controlled experiment that still embarrasses every advocate of managed development. The control group thrived. The planned economies didn't. Cowperthwaite retired to St Andrews, received a knighthood, and gave almost no interviews. That restraint was entirely in character.

I just got a text on a moms group chat showing how her kids’ school project turned out. 4 other parents chimed in with picts. I did not know of this project. It is due tomorrow. It requires specific supplies from store. It’s 8pm.

There is evil in the world. Men who butcher Christians for their faith. The light shines even in the darkness. RIP Pastor Emmanuel Hills
🇳🇬 JUST IN: Pastor Emmanuel Hills reportedly killed after being abducted by kidnappers in Plateau State. Last Friday, Mrs. Hills and her husband, Pastor Emmanuel Hills, were travelling from Jos to Bokkos in a commercial minivan when the vehicle was ambushed by kidnappers. Mrs. Hills was reportedly tortured before being released with other passengers, while her husband and his colleague were abducted. Before she could reach home, Pastor Hills had reportedly been executed. His body was found by the roadside in a pool of blood.

Apocalipsis 2:10✝️

College professor left completely stumped after @KaiSchwemmer started talking in Spanish after the professor said he welcomed mass migration. Schwemmer: Would it be an issue if every city spoke a different language? Professor: No. Schwemmer: "Entonces sería bastante difícil si estuviéramos hablando, entendernos, porque nosotros no podemos entender lo que estamos diciendo y no podemos alcanzar tener respeto mutuo." Brilliant.

“Well, I hope she'll be satisfied at last, for I know she's been hankering after those silly sleeves... Puffs have been getting bigger and more ridiculous right along; they're as big as balloons now. Next year anybody who wears them will have to go through a door sideways."

What a hypocrite. @RebeccaForNJ07 forces her campaign donors to pay her nearly $16,000 personal childcare bills at the same time she fights to deprive families of childcare cost relief. Hardworking families across the state don’t have the luxury of dark money donors paying their personal expenses. They rely on the expanded Child Tax Credit that I got done, which Bennett has vowed to undo. savejersey.com/2026/10/benne…
