The best creative midfielders in the National League North Season 25/26 And finally the no.1 creative midfielder in the @NL_Enterprise north by assists.   #1. Will Jenkins (24)    @SouthShieldsFC Assists 13                           0.3 per 90 Ever present this season with a staggering 44 starts from 44 appearances, Will was a key part of South Shields promotion push that saw them just fall short. Not only has he the most assists in the league he also scored 8 goals from midfield making him comfortably the number 1 creative midfielder in NLN. Contract Status: Under Contract with South Shields until 2028 #nonleague #nonleaguefootball #NLN #Nationalleague @SouthShieldsFC @AFCFylde @telfordutd @OxCityFC @ChesterFC

Let us look at the best creative midfielders in the National League North Season 25/26    #2 Tom Whelan (30)      @AFCFylde Assists 10                           0.31 per 90 Signed from Boreham Wood in August, Tom added real quality for AFC Fylde and significantly contributed to winning promotion to the National League. The former Chesterfield man can play in a variety of roles in midfield and scored 5 goals to go with his 10 assists in winning promotion. Full of experience and quality on the ball and earns the number 2 spot. Contract Status: Under Contract with AFC Fylde until 2027 #nonleague #nonleaguefootball #NLN #Nationalleague @SouthShieldsFC @AFCFylde @telfordutd @OxCityFC @ChesterFC

#3 Remi Walker (23)            @telfordutd Assists 10                           0.27 per 90 Stand out season for Remi Walker who saw him scored an incredible 16 goals from midfield to go with 10 assists that saw Telford finish above where many had predicted they would. More suited to an attacking midfield role as an 8 or 10, we featured Remi in our too good for step 2 feature. Incredibly surprised to see him sign a new deal with AFC Telford for the 26/27 Season as he would not have been short of admirers. Really good age who will only get better Contract Status: Under Contract with AFC Telford until 2027 #nonleague #nonleaguefootball #NLN #Nationalleague @SouthShieldsFC @AFCFylde @telfordutd @OxCityFC @ChesterFC @NonLeagueNews

Let us look at the best creative midfielders in the @NL_Enterprise North Season 25/26 We are fairly new to Twitter so any retweets are appreciated #4 Tom Scott (23)  @OxCityFC Assists 7                             0.32 per 90 Tom started the season on fire with 11 goal contributions in his first 16 matches and lead the assist charts up to November, until an injury saw him miss games mid-season. He still managed 7 assists and 6 goals in a side that struggled at the wrong end of the table and has the best assist ratio per 90 minutes out of the 5 midfielders in the list. A versatile midfielder who can play in a flat 2, box to box 8, 10 and second striker. Still young at 23 so will only improve. Contract Status: Unknown #nonleague #nonleaguefootball #NLN #Nationalleague @SouthShieldsFC @AFCFylde @telfordutd @OxCityFC @ChesterFC @CalTalksNL @CallumHallett6 @NonLeagueNews @NL_Bible @ellishall_12

Let us look at the best creative midfielders in the @NL_Enterprise   5. Declan Weeks (30)    @ChesterFC Assists 7                             0.20 per 90 Experienced holding midfielder and captain for Chester, Declan is a classic deep playmaker who racked up 7 assists in a season that saw Chester make the playoffs. The former Wolves and Kidderminster player is extremely tidy in possession with a good passing range and aggression when needed. Chipped in with one goal this season but is a true leader in the middle of the park. Contract Status: Under Contract until 2027   #nonleague #nationalleague #NLN #nonleaguefootball #scoutreport @SouthShieldsFC @AFCFylde @telfordutd @OxCityFC @ChesterFC
