"Got a call during the bye week from one of the Senior Bowl games and got a call from Nike and asking, you know, it's going to be the first kid that ever gets a Nike contract from an NIL standpoint in the history of Illinois athletics.
"The text message I got and the phone call was like, "Is there any red flags?" And I literally started laughing. I'm like, "Red flags?" I'm like, "This guy is everything and anything I could ever expect and want in a player."
