ALT Olek finally turned her gaze to him, her eyes flashing to his lips. “I think we should go to bed.” Ronan rose to his full height, his hands found hers again. “I think that’s best.” They stood there for a moment, their eyes meeting. They were like the ground and grass intertwined to make earth whole again.

ALT a square moodboard with nine square images, with the top third being teal and gold themed and the bottom two thirds being black and cool color themed. in the center is a blue torch with pale purple text reading, impressive, don't you think? one might call me the greatest psychopomp to ever live. at least i would. beneath it reads psycho pompous, the book's title. the images, clockwise from top left, consist of a morning desert landscape; the ruins of a greek temple; some island coastline leading into the sea; falcon feathers; a churning blue river between dark rocks; a dark colonnade leading to a black entryway; two small black pomegranates with bluish leaves; and some black snake scales with dew.

ALT A mock book cover with the title AMITY COVE against a theatre/circus background with glitter, a striped tent, a ribbon boarder, and a ballerina in pose standing in as the letter 'I'.

ALT A black, gold, and pink image with two figures in either corner, one of a performer hanging from a rope, the other of a cloaked figure in a bird skull mask. The text reads AMITY COVE, Pitch: When her little sister disappears at a haunted wharf,Everly's sworn enemy is the only person with a lead on her whereabouts. She must dig into the sordid past of her town for answers, but doing so could bury her sister for good. Praise: "It's a gripping story with awesome imagery and cool twists." C.C. "You have truly mastered the art of what it means to write a compelling thriller." K.C. "You had me hooked from page one." K.H. "WHAT A TWIST!" M.P.

ALT A black background with a multicolor circus tent. Five book covers in the foreground as comparable titles. The books pictured are Pretty Little Liars, The Thrashers, Beth is Dead, Don't Look Back, One of us is Lying.

ALT Two figures bordering text. One figure is a performer standing precariously on a perch, the other is hanging upside down from a hanging ribbon. The text reads: One, The carnival comes alive at night. That’s what the town of Amity Cove always said. Well, the superstitious faction of town…which was basically everyone. If you go to the wharf at midnight, (or one a.m., three, three-eleven, twilight, whatever) slip through the padlocked, salt-worn iron gate, and find your way through the concessions, game booths, twirling teacups, and twisting teddy bears, you’ll see the amphitheater. And in it, the performers: The Fool juggling in her leaflet skirts. Lady Justice walking the tightrope. The Hanged Man dangling by his toes with his top hat still perfectly in place on his upside-down head. If you go, you will see. So said the ghost tale of Weston’s Wharf, which was bullshit. I’d been to the wharf a dozen times and seen absolutely nothing. No lights, no music, no sense of being watched.

ALT Background- Blue starry night with lantern, moon, and cityscape. Text- Pitch: Travis's untimely Death lands him a lunar afterlife where he's sentenced to returnt to Earth as a ghost and facilitate the murder of the woman he loves.

ALT Background- Starry night blue with lantern, moon, and cityscape. Text: Opening Page: Dragons aren’t typically known for loading dishwashers, but the one hunched beside Travis’s sink didn’t seem concerned with tradition. Its spine scraped the ceiling, claws clinking as it dropped forks into the rack. Black scales swallowed the morning light, and when it sighed, smoke curled between needle teeth. Travis’s stomach knotted into a lump, socks sliding as he stumbled across tile. There could not be a dragon in his mother’s kitchen. Not with her pristine countertops and losa criolla backsplash tiles. If this thing so much as left a scratch, that fiery Puerto Rican would strangle him before the dragon could. Travis swallowed, heart thumping in discordance with the bird song. The taste of chemicals lingered on his tongue, and the room seemed to warp, leaning in against the dragon’s weight....
