What's funny about this is that I scrambled to buy that account in Alpha, right before Beta where they changed the license to state you'd no longer be guaranteed to receive all future versions of the game for free. I signed an agreement saying they owed me the game forever

Didn't play Minecraft for a few years, was tied to a childhood email I haven't used in forever and I guess they just deleted the account I paid for because I didn't press a button to migrate it to a Microsoft account. Which was tied to a Hotmail address. A Microsoft email.
