When the going gets tough, the regime activates "Category A Influencers".
Maybe it is not the contractors or engineers.
Maybe it is the material.

Yeah. One atheist's journey was to study the early church as a post grad in a seminary and realise that he was a total imbecile.

I trust certain segments of the state enough to expect that a list of every single person recruited into the security services through these organised crime networks, corruption and patronage has been identified and logged in a list to deal with as soon as there is a chanmge in government. Just like in 2003.
Karen Nyamu: I recently tried to help a very staunch campaigner of mine join the police force. Tukakarabati (we forged) a form 4 certificate.
She went to Kiganjo for training, but after investigations, she was arrested for forgery alongside 17 others.

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
Judges really should stick to what they know ie the law. Not only is this statement absolutely false but as the main plank of declaring the accused cultists it purports to declare that Roman Catholics, Orthodox Christians Anglicans, Lutherans as non-Christian.
Maccabees are actual Christian books that are read, followed and revered by the vast majority of Christians for 2000 years.
At the Councils of Hippo (393 AD) and Carthage (397 AD, reaffirmed 419 AD), included in the Damasine List (AD 382).
The judge is purporting to declare literal Christian saints such as Augustine, Gregory Nazianzen, John Chrysostom, Clement of Alexandria, Cyprian, Hippolytus, and Ambrose non-Christian.
This is such significant misapprehension of basic Christian history that I can't actually believe I am hearing it from a court.
Absolutely horrendous and totally theologically illiterate.
Lots of very complex and highly impactful systems rely on the input of a vanishingly tiny group of people and often individuals. There are 3 guys at the University of East Anglia who, alone, run a system of major global significance .
One shudders to imagine what will happen when humanity no longer produces these guys.
Nearly every phone and computer on Earth relies on one plain-text file to know what time it is.
When a country changes its clocks with a few weeks’ notice, or Morocco pauses daylight saving for Ramadan, someone has to update that file. Since 02005, that someone has been Paul Eggert, a computer science professor at UCLA, who does it as a volunteer.

Happening all day.
Of course the flying Tesla Roadster is a gimmick but that sort of misses the point, the tech flex behind it isn't.
Tesla's bulk business is about advanced technology from EV to self drive, but decided to create the most ridiculous manual drive supercar. Supercars are a gimmick, almost by definition, based on how wild can you make them.
The gimmick that can make the car literally fly, briefly, can make it corner like no other supercar and accelerate, literally like a dragster on a test track. It's got nothing to do with flying continuously, but having a car that will outperform every Lambo, Ferrari or McLaren with technology that they cannot replicate because it requires experience from space launches and computation that they don't have now nor will in future.
So Porsche, Bugatti, Aston Martin just became legacy prestige brands, like Rolex, Richard Mille or Patek Philippe. These cars celebrate the bygone age and the baroque, physical complexity of the internal combustion engine just as mechanical watches do for non digital, complex time-keeping mechanisms. But hey won't be faster anymore than a mechanical watch keeps better time than a Casio. They are now, de facto, mobile jewelry and no longer supercars with superlative performance. And this affects their ability to market the bulk business of mainstream European internal combustion engine cars. It's the end of an era of industrial era manufacturing.
When I was growing up, we had better nerds.
My take away from the incredible Tesla demo that is actually very cool is that nothing has changed since 2009 when nerds started caring about politics more than engineering. They have remained quite boring.
