A KYC case has one subject. A KYB case has a company, then however many beneficial owners sit behind it.
Two founders on a flat cap table. Or a trust, three holdings down, in a country you do not file in. You find out which after the case is open.
Registry lookup through Topograph, document checks, coherence controls, UBO verification, merchant notified.
That's 6 steps. With one that has a count nobody knows at the start.
We wrote up the whole sequence, as our fintech customers run it:
"How to run KYB onboarding and UBO verification as one workflow"

Running an AI agent on crypto compliance takes two layers.
One sees the risk. The other decides on it and keeps the proof.
Layer 1: seeing the risk.
TRM Labs maps a wallet to the entity behind it across 184+ blockchains, in under 400 milliseconds.
If a sanctioned mixer, a ransomware address or a darknet market is one hop away, you see it.
Layer 2: deciding on it.
A risk score is only an input. Someone still has to hold the transfer, pull the fiat context on the same customer, escalate it and document why.
On Forest, the TRM check is one step in a workflow your compliance team defines. Below the threshold, the transfer clears. Above it, a case opens with the on-chain exposure already attached.
Crypto and fiat risk sit on the same case, under one audit trail, whether a human or an AI agent made the call.
If that’s what you’re trying to build, check TRM Labs. And… Forest. :)

Ops teams are asked to handle more volume under the same control.
The work is now shared between analysts, outsourced teams and AI agents.
So we built Workflows with the teams at the forefront of agentic ops, our early adopters, with:
→ Triggers that match your context: a record update, or a call through API, MCP, or webhook.
→ Deterministic rules where the policy is explicit, AI where judgment is needed, customizable step by step.
→ Control built in: exceptions escalate to a human, and every change is on record, down to the field value.
Bottom line:
The process runs.
With human, AI or automation.
Your team supervises it. Fully auditable.

Fintechs launching a stablecoin or crypto product often start by picking a new core banking system. Each one brings something different. For Tuum, it’s modularity.
You add it next to the core you already run, one module at a time. Tuum says its ledger handles stablecoins as a native currency type, with KYC rules per asset. And it already runs the fiat side for crypto businesses, with Januar.
But the core is one piece of a crypto launch. Custody, wallet screening and travel rule data sit with other providers, and your ops team works across all of them from day one. That’s the part where we talk to you about Forest.
Interested? We compared 5 core banking systems for a crypto launch: what each gives you, what’s live today, and what’s still up to you.
If you’re scoping a crypto product, have a read. Feedback welcome.

A request for information is where your team asks someone outside for something, then waits.
Maybe a customer has to explain a counterparty on a held payment. Maybe a merchant has to resend a proof of address that expired.
It lands harder in fintech than almost anywhere else. There is always money or an account on the other side of the wait.
Move too slowly and you freeze out a legitimate customer.
Close too early and you cleared something you cannot justify.
Both are decisions. A regulator can ask you about either one, years later.

Table ronde, French Fintech Week 2026.

There is one question we get every week from fintech ops teams.
Let's see how we address it with our new partner, Onepilot.
The question?
What happens the moment a case exceeds what an AI agent is allowed to decide... and no internal expert is free to catch it?
Stacks/Workflows usually route it to human review and call it a day.
Except the human is often working off to the side, in a separate tool, with no trace.
That is where a governed process quietly stops being governed.
See our full story about tackling the issue with Forest & Onepilot: forest.app/blog/onepilot-for…
Working with fintechs, we often plug in BaaS providers, and see where each excels. For Swan, it's taking the whole compliance job.
Verification, the decision, and a direct relationship with your end customer. You prepare and transmit. Swan verifies, decides and executes.
What's left on your side is collecting documents and answering your customers. And that's the part where we talk to you about Forest.
Interested? We compared 4 BaaS suppliers, and wrote a guide: what each takes on, what's still up to you, and where Forest plugs in.
If you're in the market for a new BaaS, have a read. Feedback welcome.

Table ronde, French Fintech Weeks 2026.

Build your regulated process on fields you can trust. And be able to prove each.
Holofin turns a messy document into clean data, showing where on the page every value came from.
And then? Someone still has to decide and this needs permissions and logs. That's us.

Woody Rousseau, CTO & co-founder, Theodo Fintech
Rose Valette, VP Product, Swan
Delya Douglas, Regulatory expert, Lyncas

Operations Stage, 9h30 - 10h00.

We're proud to announce Forest is officially SOC 2 Type II.
Forest was built for regulated data.
We built it that way because our customers are fintechs and other regulated companies whose operational data cannot be handled casually.
A SOC 2 Type II examination audits the company: how access is granted and revoked, how a change reaches production, how an incident gets handled, how the people behind the product actually behave over months.
The audit came back with an unqualified opinion. No exceptions, no qualifications. It confirms we run the company the way we built it.

We're claiming the Agentic Ops category.
It's the conversations we have every week.
With customers. With prospects.
How to let AI agents run parts of regulated operations?
Without losing control?
If you're in fintech, you can feel where the market is going.
Agentic ops is the governed ground your agents stand on. Your data, your infra, humans and agents on the same workflows. With every action logged.

MiCA and DORA look at the same case through two different lenses, with 2 reports, 2 clocks, 2 reviewers. BUT both should run off one shared operational back office, not two separate compliance programmes. Our CRO Nicolas Devillard explains why in this piece.

Headless backoffice? What does that even mean?
It means your live Forest data, any question, right in Claude. One MCP connector. Done.
