A recent study determined that being strategic is more important than you think.
Researchers found that the way #TreeSpecies are arranged in a forest—whether clustered or randomly spread out—impacts productivity. The models show that random planting designs increased tree #Biomass by 11% compared to clustered layouts. And a more even spread of tree species helps promote the even distribution of the fallen leaves, which boosts nutrients and organic matter recycling.

What happens after forest fires? 🌲🔥 Fire plays a natural role in many ecosystems—and some species need it to grow. But today’s fires are more intense, and nature can’t always bounce back. That’s where reforestation comes in.
