$950M into industrial robotics in 48 hours. Not a trend; a thesis forming. March 10: Rhoda AI exits stealth with a $450M Series A at a $1.7B valuation, backed by Premji Invest, Khosla, Temasek, Mayfield, and John Doerr. Their model trains robot manipulation from internet-scale video, targeting manufacturing and logistics. March 11: Mind Robotics raises $500M at $2B, co-led by Accel and a16z. Spun out by Rivian founder RJ Scaringe. $615M raised in four months. Industrial robotics used to be a specialist-only bet: high hardware COGS, long qualification cycles, slow enterprise adoption. What changed is the model layer. Physical intelligence is becoming the scaling surface - similar to where LLMs were around 2020–21. Capital is moving early, ahead of deployment curves. The pipeline behind these rounds is likely deeper than most people think. 🚧🤖📈

Control Stack for Decentralized Robotics 🧠 We’re building a lightweight control layer that: • Handles real-time joint motion and safety • Syncs telemetry on-chain for proof of work & uptime • Collects data for Machine Learning usage privately • Orchestrates tasks through smart contracts and payments Each robotic arm becomes a verifiable service node - the physical equivalent of a validator, earning for performing real-world actions.

In collaboration with @tnkrdotai, you can now view the Forma Arm directly in your browser. Open it, explore the full design, inspect the structure - no downloads, no setup required. Making robotics accessible, interactive, and easy to explore.
The Forma Arm is now officially live. This is our open-source modular robotic arm - designed for real-world deployment, affordable fabrication (3D printable), and built with interchangeable joints. The repository includes: • Complete modular CAD files (Base + Link1–Link6 + servo modules) • Circuit diagram • Full Bill of Materials (hardware + servos) • Assembly structure ready for iteration and improvement Everything is open for builders, researchers, students, and anyone who wants to experiment with robotics in a practical way. 🔗 GitHub Repository: github.com/FormaRobotics/for… This is the foundation. We’ll continue adding electronics details, improvements, and new attachments as we progress.

A small glimpse into the internals of the Forma Arm. The past weeks have been spent deep in electronics, control architecture, and system design - the parts that are less visible, but define how everything performs. While the release was moved to next week due to market conditions, the engineering work never slowed down. This is the foundation that connects the full vision: Forma Nova (research) → validated ideas → Forma Arm (deployment) What you’re seeing here is part of the layer that makes that pipeline possible. Full reveal next week.

Major update for Forma RaaS Control Interface We’re adding Inverse Kinematics to the platform, bringing precise, intuitive motion control for 6DoF robotic arms. This means you’ll be able to define end-effector positions and orientations, and the system will calculate all the joint movements automatically-making complex paths and tasks much easier to execute. This feature is coming very soon, and it will make programming and controlling robotic arms through the platform faster, smarter, and more powerful than ever.

A first look at the Forma RaaS Control Interface in action. Live robot state visualization, joint-level control, and task orchestration for 6-DoF arms - all running through a single, web-native dashboard. This control layer is fundamental to Robotics-as-a-Service. It’s what turns robots into remotely accessible, observable, and controllable resources rather than isolated machines. Teach tasks visually, monitor execution in real time, fall back to teleop when needed, and iterate live - without being on-site. This is how decentralized RaaS starts to work in practice.

The Forma RaaS Control Interface is dropping soon. It provides a unified control and observability layer for 6-DoF robotic arms - including Forma Arm - designed for real-world, remote operation. Users can visualize the robot state in real time, control individual joints, and orchestrate tasks through a clean, web-native interface. Tasks can be taught visually, monitored as they execute, and adjusted live, with seamless fallback to teleoperation when autonomy reaches its limits. This layer is fundamental to RaaS. Instead of local setups and custom integrations, operators can access robots on demand, observe execution remotely, and iterate behavior in real time. The result is a practical foundation for Robotics-as-a-Service: hire a robot, watch it work, intervene when needed, and continuously refine tasks - all from a single dashboard.
