As Suicide Prevention Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to remind our students, families, and community that support is available all year long. Check in on the people around you, listen, and reach out when you need help. You matter. 💜

FSISD received a report of a student-created list that raised safety concerns. FSMS administration and police responded immediately, investigated, & found no immediate threat. Families directly involved were contacted. Thank you for speaking up and prioritizing student safety.
This afternoon, a student had a medical emergency at Fort Stockton High School. Staff responded immediately and contacted EMS. We are grateful that the student is okay. Thank you to our staff, students, and medical personnel for their calm and quick response.
We are grateful for the grandparents who are such important partners in the lives of our students. Your love, guidance, and support make a difference every day. Thank you for helping our students grow, learn, and become good people. We appreciate all you do.
On this day, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. The bravery of so many on that day reminds us of the strength and compassion that binds us together as Americans.
We join with our community in honoring this day and what it represents.
