Pretty good psyop on the part of the Democrats, ngl. AI wasn't coming for factory workers, truck drivers, oil drillers, etc. But it *is* (was?) coming for every superfluous email/spreadsheet job held by the unionized public sector employees who prop up the DNC.
You see this a lot when it comes to AI. This sentiment that it’s taking something from the *essence* of what a thing *is*. Artists, mathematicians and, now, college professors. “No, you don’t get it…my job isn’t a job. It’s…it’s deeper than that.”
No. It. Isn’t.
The point of the class is for the students to learn the material, not for everyone to sit back and marvel about how much effort you put into making notes

I know this is “cope,” but I doubt most people will notice Congress changing hands. How many days was Congress in session this year? No one knows. What did they last vote on? Again, no one knows. Two years of gridlock isn't going to be much different than usual.
1930s Germany had a social democratic government that employed right-wing militias to execute communists in the street, and a robust network of senior politicians, army officers, industrialists, media moguls, and judges running cover for the NSDAP.
I'm going with the assumption that the Pentagon had some kind of information neither we nor Charlie Kirk would have access to, which convinced Trump to initiate the war now rather than later. Maybe we'll get disclosure a decade or four from now.

It’s bad Republicans lost, it’s a bad thing.
But what comes next I think will be very interesting.
Everyone from ‘center left moderates’ to the furthest fringes of the far left is involved in an ill defined liberatory project that they can’t quite articulate the contours of but that is entropic, anti civilizational, and psychotic. It has room for bizarre identity gnosis, Luigi and Lindsay Clancy, absurd forms of narcissism and delusional self regard, and it can only stay on the rails with intensive psychopharmacology, sterility, and strict ideological regimentation, but only then barely.
I don’t think anyone is confused by what sorts of people ‘Talarico’ or ‘El Sayed’ are - these are strange, defective people who have been swept along by this project, who clearly aren’t in control of it, and it will be interesting (and terrifying) to see where it takes them.
I do not care for the constant "It's over/we're back." No single election means anything. If you want power, you keep trying and trying, refining strategy, until you get it.
Sun Yat-sen had 10 failed attempts to overthrow the Qing. He succeeded on the 11th. Be like him.
The US is falling behind its East Asian competitors in the field of bigotry. We need to encourage more of our young people to go into Advanced Racism Studies, starting in high school and continuing on into university.
- Boomers saw the 1977 movie and stopped caring after that.
- Gen X hated Anakin because the prequels as a whole were boring and retarded.
- "Younger generations" (you) never really watched the prequels and formed your opinions around playing LEGO Star Wars.
- The *new* Star Wars trilogy comes out in 1999-2005
- Boomers hate Anakin (probably because he is Vader)
- Younger generations still love him
- Hayden gets real recognition and love closer to 2020, to the extent where he cries on stage. (Probably because the people who actually like him and Anakin as a character didn't have a voice for the longest time)
- Anakin popularity increases through memes and appearances in newer Star Wars shows/movies
- Right-wingers adopt Anakin to push their agenda
- Suddenly everyone hates Anakin again, to the extent where they start making BS arguments as to why Luke is "better".
Anakin is and will always be The Chosen One in the SW universe.
It's incredible how much this sucked. John K, the hyper-opinionated psycho perfectionist, spends a decade talking about this shit. He's a pioneer of online animation. But when he finally squirts it out, it's full of tweening, fucked up perspective, and glaring animation errors.
