Happy to be involved with the #DearTerry initiative for @TerryFoxCanada. I’ve been taking part in the Terry Fox Run since second grade and can’t think of a more enduring and lovely legacy for one person. Terry Fox inspired millions in life and death. ❤️ 🇨🇦

Working on a return to the airwaves that would involve some friends from 1040. Very excited. In the meantime—-thanks so much to everyone who has reached out to me the last 3 weeks. Much appreciated!

Thinking of my close friends & colleagues at @TSN1040 right now. There’s not a better group of people in the industry. Talented, passionate, hard working. I love you all. Just gutted right now.

TMIW but this sucks! Memo to: the listeners and colleagues. thanks for an amazing run. Your words today are appreciated more than you know, thanks for taking the time to write and call. I love what I do, and I’ll be around to annoy you, and @mattsekeres, before you know it.

you guys are amazing. The love and support means the world. We had something really special going. I’m trying to keep up with the calls, texts & DMs. It’s overwhelming quite frankly. Will do my best to respond. Thanks doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Can’t begin to find the right words for those that lost jobs today in Hamilton, Winnipeg and in particular Vancouver. You have all been real pros and become friends over the last 20 years that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. It’s all so sad...Wishing you all the very best

The “Hammer” in @MCHammer?
That name comes from MC Hammer’s time as bat boy for the A’s because of his resemblance to Hank Aaron who was also nicknamed Hammer. #RootedInOakland #BlackHistoryMonth
