Latest update on Maya Gebala 🙏
"DAY 4: We received some encouraging news today! Maya has started attempting to initiate her own breaths, which is truly incredible. The nurse also noted a slight dilation in her eye. These are all very positive signs and show that she’s moving in the right direction. We’re taking it one day at a time, but we believe we’ll get there.

I think it goes without saying that in the unregulated AI era, you absolutely, positively cannot share photos of your children publicly.

Be a female streamer, but don’t act too feminine.
Wear T-shirts to avoid being sexualized, but don’t dress too much like a man.
Don’t be too friendly to viewers, it’s flirty, but also don’t be short with responses, it’s bitchy.
Be yourself, but don’t be too loud it’s cringe and don’t be too soft spoken it’s boring.
Make sure you’re good at video games to be taken serious, but not too good bc you’re just cheating then.
Wear make up to look good but not too much bc then you’re trying too hard.
Be confident in your body, but dont show it, you’re just seeking attention and will be shamed.

Sometimes I really hate that this industry is all about face value. Whatever you hear about a creator/game/company is what most automatically believe… but people forget there are 3 sides to every story, and only one of those is the truth.

Is it just me or has Twitch Con just turned into an event where adults pushing 30 get to continue acting like they are in high school.
Every year it’s some drama & cliquey bullshit all over the timeline.
Everyone looking like dorks trying to act cooler than each other 🤣

5 things ive learned in 5 years of streaming on Twitch:
1️⃣ Not everyone you meet will like you. It doesn't mean you did something wrong, or that you need to change. Remember that YOU also dont like everyone YOU meet. Its unrealistic thinking and unfair to yourself to beat yourself up for not vibing with everyone.
2️⃣ Follow-through is one of the most attractive qualities in a collaborator, a friend, and a business opportunity. I am more likely to work with people a second time when they follow through on their words, dont drop out of things, and respect my time. I try my very best to be the same for them.
3️⃣ Your friends are the people who correct you when you're wrong, and remember that you are a human who makes mistakes and sometimes makes bad choices like every other person in the world. Your friends are not the people who isolate you or others for those things.
4️⃣ Your content needs to make you happy and proud. If youre not happy, and you dont like what youre putting out, you need to change your content. It feels obvious, but its not as clear as it sounds. Check in with yourself, your numbers, your friends, and your community. You hold the steering wheel.
5️⃣ If someone is copying you, it means youre an influencer and you have good ideas. I used to get so upset with my friends for doing things I did on my stream or in discord. Its exhausting and a waste of time.
