I shared this a while ago on IG and some ridiculous person felt entitled to DM me something like “An AI post? I thought you were better than that!” First, I didn’t make the image I randomly saw it on the internet, which is how the internet works if you didn’t know Second, get a life as soon as humanly possible my brother

Man they even put an em dash in the post-update login screen. It has to be a joke at this point right?

Great post. This has been one of the hardest things about entrepreneurship since I started three years ago. You do it for freedom, and quickly realize how easy it is to achieve the exact opposite. I still struggle with it all the time. My best advice is to spend more time with business owners who want the same thing you do out of their business, which means you need to do the hard work of figuring out what that is, first
I was at BIG crossroads. On one hand I had more notoriety, being seen around important people like Tucker Carlson & Russell Brand, & climbing the social status ladder that leads to more money & opportunities. On the other hand I had my integrity. Here's a short thread & tough lesson most entrepreneurs never talk about.

If you don't trust yourself enough to invest in yourself, nobody else will either

People say they're attracted to entrepreneurship because they want 'freedom' but what they really mean is they just want control of their time They don't want emails from their top of the bell curve boss at 7am on a Monday. And I get it I didn't want that either. But freedom is much bigger than that. Control is the first step, necessary but not sufficient for freedom. Freedom is more than changing income sources
