While we’re focused on our election and people being burned alive… this criminality is going unnoticed. It’s time this saw the light and people are held accountable!

Hey @sodexo_live, your @UNITEHERE30 team is a huge part of the success of your longstanding partnership with the @SDConventionCtr. Do right by your workers and give them a fair contract now! #FairContractNow #Solidarity #1u

Join us at the Union Hall, on Wednesday, July 10th for a strike vote. The address is 1940 Fifth Ave, SD 92101.
It is time for us to escalate the way we express our concerns. We will demonstrate our union strength to @sodexoUSA and the @SDConventionCtr.

Don’t forget to mention the ancillary corporate interests that latch on to this system and then fail to provide the services they’re paid for like skilled nursing and transportation. Our current system is filled with leaches and inefficiency. #SinglePayerNow

Thank you for your clear illustration of why many tech industry Californians will not move to Texas. Google will be back when all they can find to work at their Dallas site are Brawndo swilling troglodytes. 😂

You can always use a condom if you are that concerned about it. I'm guess you are in the its ok to kill babies at 8 months camp.
Except the law still applies… 🤦♂️ latimes.com/world-nation/sto…
This is what healthcare looks like in the wealthiest nation in the history of humanity. First do no harm? Ha! #SinglePayerNow
As an organizer who has fought alongside y’all for years only to be cast aside when I ran for Assembly in favor of a candidate who refused to sign the CalCare pledge and took CMA $$, I suggest y’all reconsider how @CalNurses builds power. In my house, solidarity means something.

#CalCare was blocked BECAUSE the movement is getting stronger, meaning that voting against it would be politically dangerous for the 80 Assembly members who have NEVER taken a floor vote on single-payer, even though it's on the Dem Party platform.
The corporate death panel has killed single payer… again. #CalCare

Over the last few years we have done many things to be proud about, including supporting dozens of candidates running for every level of public office. It’s especially cool when we get recognized for our good work!
Just rode my bike over to the student protest camp at CSUS and spent a good while touring the camp and talking to folks. It is an incredibly peaceful and organized interfaith multicultural protest. I am so impressed by these students! #STOPISRAELIWARCRIMES #STUDENTSFORPALESTINE
It wasn’t that long ago that we had a fierce battle over taking fossil fuel money in the party. What on earth is happening over there?!

In CA, we have @CalChamber fearmongering w the false narrative that #CalCare is a "job killer" that will harm businesses in California.
The only "business" that will be harmed is the immoral, thieving, useless insurance companies. (But their workers will be protected.)

We’re just a few red to blue flips away from firing an anti-choice, anti-worker Republican majority in the House. But we can’t win without holding the nationally-targeted Virginia 7th District.

California lost an icon in our school system today. Delaine Eastin's legacy as a trailblazer in public education will forever inspire us. Her unwavering dedication to California students, from championing Universal Preschool and school nutrition, to honoring our educators by establishing the Teacher of the Year Awards, has left an indelible mark on our state's educational landscape. It was my privilege to honor her at this year’s Teacher of the Year gala.
As the first and only woman to have served as State Superintendent of Public Instruction, she was a visionary, helping to bridge the gap between education and the high-tech industry through initiatives like Netday with President Clinton that pioneered the integration of technology in classrooms, ensuring that thousands of children had digital access in the early days of the internet.
Her dedication and foresight to nurturing and preparing students for the future laid the foundation for what has been possible for our students today. We express our condolences and offer our thoughts and prayers to Superintendent Eastin’s loved ones. We will miss you, Superintendent Eastin.
Onward—let’s get this passed!
Thank you to everyone who showed up in-person today and the thousands of people who have taken action on this campaign leading up to this point.
Thank you to @AsmMiaBonta for shepherding #CalCare out of your committee. Onward!!
