Someone once said,stress is like holding a pail of water. The longer you hold on to it, the more sore and tired your arms get. Sure, at first its easy, but after a while, starts to ache and hurt.

Before they had the rights to Ghostbusters, they tried a few alternatives. Cool to see a 40 year old blooper
Hereβs a story for you. We started filming without owning the title and had to do alternates.
Taft Broadcasting owned the title Ghostbusters as part of their half-hour sitcom starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker (F-Troop) and a gorilla chasing ghosts. I had never heard of it. They didnβt have proton packs or Bill Murray. Columbia paid $500,000 to buy the name, but they really should have paid Dean Martin, from whom I first heard the term.
In the film Scared Stiff (1953), he and Jerry Lewis (check out his acrobatic stair descent) are in an old haunted castle, and Lizabeth Scott asks Dean: βWho are you guys?β And Dean answers: βYouβve heard of Trustbusters and Gangbusters, weβre Ghostbusters!β
For my research writing the first movie, I watched every single βghostβ comedy ever made. Bowery Boys, Hope and Crosby, Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis all did such films.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admirationΒ for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
