Teaching functions? Have students watch this crazy video. Then ask them how many hot dogs the competitive eaters would have eaten if they hadn't run out.

Yes! Can’t wait to hear about all the great things that came out of your time together! #flyfierce
Four rewarding days with this team and although our brains are tired, every single thing we did was for ALL HAWKS!
Also, we would like to introduce our ‘official’ hawk hand sign. Check out those talons! 😂 @nelsonjh_hawks
This might be the best teacher appreciation I could have ever received! I got to go to the senior clap-out today at SJH! THIS IS WHY I DO WHAT I DO! I can’t wait to be back in the classroom at @nelsonjh_hawks
Best group of math people! 💜 #teammandewalle
Couldn’t have asked for a better “Series Finale” with these math ladies. A day filled with laughs, some tears, and lots of math. Incredibly grateful for the community of JH Math ICs, current and past, to lead @katyisd so well. Time to fly. #katymodelsmath #teammandewalle

This lesson on the best deal when buying carnival tickets gives you a context for connecting ratios to unit rates.

Can’t wait to celebrate this group of young adults! 😊
So excited to see these Seniors who’ve walked the halls of SJH 6-8 grade! Any staff member that worked at SJH from 2017-2020, join us as we congratulate our SABERCATS!!! 🩵🖤@SJHCats

It's Mental Math Monday with @MikeFlynn55! If 16 stickers cost $10, how would you mentally calculate the cost of 20 stickers?

Trunk or Treat was a great turn out! It was hot, but it was a great time! @MDJH_Panthers @andersonag04
