It was a real joy at our Northern Diocesan Synod for Bishop Matthew to receive The Revd Chris Hegg into the ministry of the Free Church of England from the Church of England Diocese of Blackburn.
Please pray for the Northern Diocesan Synod, which meets on Saturday in Blackburn. May the Holy Spirit guide decisions that will shape mission and ministry towards growth and renewal.
The Rev’d Andrew Ormond has been ordained to the presbyterate at St Jude’s Church, Balham.
He will now serve as Minister at Christ Church, Harlesden.
We congratulate him and pray for God’s blessing on his ministry.

The General Council of the Free Church of England meets today to take counsel together as we seek to extend and expand our mission and ministry. Please pray for us, that we would know the Lord’s guidance.

Our hope is that this will provide an opportunity for positive engagement and conversations between us. (3/4)
