After four years of record energy restrictions, open borders, and spending that drove up gas prices and interest rates, Democrats want credit for promising to bring them down. Jeffries’ plan follows the same playbook: blame tariffs and the temporary conflict with Iran, then return to the policies that created the crisis. Here’s why the plan won’t lower costs: xitter.cf/FreedomFirst26/status/…
Americans have paid billions more for gas as Donald Trump has stuffed tens of millions in personal profit into his pockets. It’s obscene. No politician should be able to make millions off their office - whether they serve in Congress or in the White House. Senate Democrats will hold Trump accountable for doing just that.

Warren is attacking Trump’s family to divert attention from the disaster she helped create. Grocery prices surged 23% under Biden while Democrats allocated billions to the IRGC. Inflation was roughly half that during Trump’s presidency. She voted for the spending that burdened working families. Voters will remember who caused the problem.
Trump's family has made billions off the presidency while working families can't afford groceries. And Republicans in Congress? They've done nothing to stop it. Not one thing. Voters will not forget that at the ballot box. thenation.com/article/politi…

Talarico says friendship and “understanding Texas” define us. His votes tell a different story. He voted NO on: • SB 2 (2019) – Requiring voter approval before big local property-tax hikes • SB 2 (2025) – Education Savings Accounts (school choice) • SB 14 (2023) – Banning puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones & surgeries for minors • SB 12 (2025) – Parental rights / limiting DEI & social transitioning in schools • SB 13 (2025) – Parental oversight of school library materials • SB 17 (2025) – Restricting land purchases by hostile foreign governments Roll calls are public on Texas Legislature Online. Check them.
.@jamestalarico: The problem with Ken Paxton is not that he didn't grow up in Texas. It's that he doesn't understand Texas. I believe anyone can be a Texan. It doesn't matter if you're an 8th generation Texan like me, or if you just got here. What makes a Texan is deep in the heart. Texas used to be known as the friendly state. Friendship is our official state motto. The word Texas comes from a Native American word for 'friend.' They used that word to describe a friend in a different tribe. Friendship across tribes. Friendship across divisions. That's what makes Texas so great.

A court did not determine that Paxton violated whistleblower laws; rather, the case was settled. The 2015 securities charges against him were dismissed without any admission of guilt, following a diversion program and the payment of $300,000 in restitution. Additionally, the Texas Senate acquitted him of all 16 impeachment articles after a comprehensive trial. Labeling dismissals, settlements, and acquittals as “proof of guilt” is how misinformation persists. It’s important to check the actual court records and the Senate vote for accurate information.

The Attorney General plays a crucial role in upholding the law. Johnson's voting history clearly shows a pattern of opposing school choice, restricting foreign land ownership, and limiting local cooperation with federal immigration enforcement. These roll call votes are publicly available—take a moment to review them and see the truth for yourself.

Attorney General Role: Johnson has made it clear that he plans to use the Attorney General's office to sue the Trump administration. Along with his votes against SB 2, SB 17, and border cooperation measures, this demonstrates a consistent pattern of opposing policies that the majority of Texans support.

Replying to @CoxHerb
Claiming Dan Patrick took a $3M bribe from Tim Dunn to acquit Paxton is a conspiracy theory, not a fact. Paxton was acquitted by the Texas Senate on all 16 articles after a full trial. The old 2015 securities charges were dismissed without an admission of guilt. No evidence of bribery was ever presented in court. Accusations without proof are just smears. Check the official Senate vote and court records.

Economic incentives that bring employers and jobs are not “corruption.” They expand the tax base. Hinojosa’s pattern is consistent: oppose school choice, oppose tax restraints, oppose foreign-land limits, and vote against the law that allowed Texas to designate CAIR — then attack the results of policies she voted against. The roll calls are public. Check them. Early voting ends soon.

Abbott later used it to designate CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood. • Voted against HB 45 (rules limiting foreign law in Texas family courts) • Voted against SB 17 (limits on hostile foreign land purchases) • Voted against HB 1900 (penalties for cities that defund police) She opposed the framework that lets Texas designate groups like CAIR, while defending Austin’s police cuts.
