A massive undertaking with the most recent influx of new players: a 26-minute guide I wish I had when I started. I walk through every part of the client and share some advice as someone who's been playing for nearly 10 years. Thumbnail by @andy_raikou Edited by @netonoe3

anrtea (@aetrna) profile pictureanrtea@aetrna18 Nov 2025

1x100 is absolutely Cookiezi haunting him from the retirement home LOL Most deserving player to get it too. Today's a good day within the community 🐐

I would like everyone to know I grinded this off stream for the last two days because only one replay of this deserves to be watched. no one else is gonna do this so I hope in honour of this score the bounty can get donated to shige himself if thats possible

imo CSR was a great step forward for the pp system BUT it wasn't perfect and further patches have taken far too long to be implemented. this is more of a development/testing timeline issue than an actual issue with the system itself
chicony (@ChiconyO) profile picturechicony@ChiconyO21 Oct 2025
im sorry to be that whiner guy but the way CSR was implemented to pp system killed the game as well as the magic behind scores. It's objectively wrong player wise THIS is the problem behind osu being at its low right now and it's not because of "post-covid era" or "nostalgia".

I'm so happy we're finally in an era for the game where maps made for players/pp aren't immediately shot on sight but of course a small group of mappers always has to ruin it by trying to capitalize on the newest meta

my largest fear with opinions starting to turn against CSR and the lack of "standards" imposed on ranked is that NATs are going to take this as a golden opportunity to clamp down on anything not up to their subjective standard and we're back to the Loctav mapping gestapo era

deserves a FAR better title than medal hunter, something like "the medal completionist" or "the one and only" would be much better since she will likely be the only person to ever achieve this 🐐

History has been made. I officially owned a title for getting ALL osu! medals. 🙏 Thank you all for the support and the faith in that accomplishment, my journey in osu! can finally end, as I achieved my personal goal in the game. 🥁🥁🥁
