That’s what’s kind of killing me about all of this. Fic readers aren’t flocking to writers for inside scoops or ways to get updates, they just all kicked writers out of the conversation entirely and it’s not even been a full day.

it's telling to me that the people most up in arms in this aren't even considering, like... seeking out fic writers in their community (who are equally upset about ao3 being down) and seeing if they'll share their fics. they just want Content shovelled into their gobs. :/
