Big dawg portraying scenes and dialogues from the book while completely changing the story means its all justified to change the entire storyline? All we're saying is its too hard to say if it'll work out or not, denis is great but ffs put his dick out of your mouth for once.
I wish!! Then I have no problems, makes it all the more interesting.
I am not entirely convinced that Chani will actually be antagonistic to Paul, might be movie starts with Chani being against Paul but then it moves in a different direction. I'm willing to bet it's a facedancers. They turn into Chani because they know she's Paul's weakness and it wouldn't be entirely implausible for her to be against Paul. Other trailer hv shown they hv twins so they probably reconcile at some point.

Bullshit.
I'm sorry, but as someone who believes that #Dune and #DuneMessiah are two of the greatest novels ever written, I absolutely adore the changes that Denis and company are making with Chani. She is how we as the audience are reacting to what Paul is doing. GIMME GIMME

october-november in india is proof that sometimes happiness is just good weather, fairy lights, ghar ka khana and absolutely nowhere to be
I just wish this movie doesn't ruin Part 2's ending for me, because I loved Chani, conflicted, heading back to the desert.

This trailer is the worst thing that has happened to Dune ever. It was not needed, at all. The first two trailers were epic. You showed too much and it started a discourse. We shouldn't have known this. This trailer was unnecessary. Now its all a mess till December 18.

The funniest bit GRRM does is bring up a house that hasn't been relevant to the story and very off handledly mention something crazy about them. "Oh yeah this house has a horn that summons monsters from the depths and everyone wants it", hey George, can we come back to that
The fact that people glaze Denis and go as far as to say the fucking author himself did not understand the story he wrote just to glaze a girlboss is so fucking pathetic & disrespectful its insane. You sacrifice all logic for your own petty agendas & its insufferable you idiots.

My day was gradually getting better and then I had to watch that low IQ hype aura moments Dune trailer and see normies praise it. I'm so angry, so angry.
Honestly hate how people just make everything to be okay just because "girlboss" wuhoo. If it is affecting my main storyline I dont give a damn man. Stop justifying this shit when it makes zero fucking sense. In the end, the source material will reign supreme you like it or not.
If Chani joined the conspiracy with some other motive, I'll be fine with it. I hope that is the case. If she joined it with an actual motive to kill Paul, regardless of her coming around to understand him or not later, is just pure bullshit and I will never buy it. Fuck ts man

Chani loved Paul and she'd never in 10,000 years think of killing him. Paul also wasn’t some angry brat, he despised his terrible purpose and the burden of being thought of as a messiah. He would've run if he could, but he knew the other paths were worse.

In the book, Chani and Paul are still super duper in love and trying to have kids. A huge chunk of the novel is Paul trying to find a way to live happily ever after with Chani and have kids.
Now they’ve turned it into Chani becoming his mortal enemy who plots his assassination.
What a waste 💀
