Enjoy walking in the #park and breathing in some fresh air? 🌳🍂
@daventrycp is one of our award-winning country parks in #WestNorthants. No matter the time of the year, enjoy a walk, bike ride and feed the ducks.

Join us this Sunday, 23rd for our birdwatching event. We'll be at @daventrycp between 9.30 and 12noon equipped with telescopes, binoculars and identification guides to help point out the various wildlife. #birdwatching
There's nothing better than taking some time to #ConnectWithNature listening to the sounds of nature.
This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we’re asking everybody to #ConnectWithNature. Spend just a little time listening to bird song, stopping to smell the flowers, or watching a busy bee! 💚🌸🐝
We are very lucky to have so many lovely parks and open spaces to visit locally.
There are a variety of local parks in your area to walk, play and get fit, including Daventry Country Park, Abington Park in Northampton and Towcester Watermeadows.

We're delighted that the lookout has been included in the footpath improvements.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the park to enjoy all the improvements and we thank you for your patience while the work is being completed. @ranger_dcp @Love_Daventry
A few ideas to do at home to connect with nature.
We know that nature is good for us but it can be hard to know how to connect with wildlife at home. We've got some great resources to keep the whole family entertained 👉 wildlifetrusts.org/kids-and-… 🤸🏡🐞
Unfortunately the Council have had to make the tough decision to close the car park and play area to assist with social distancing and reduce numbers at our lovely park. #StayAtHome

Quick heads up to anyone considering Daventry this weekend; we have had to cancel for 1 more weekend to let the park recover from the ongoing work. Can you spread the word to anyone who might have been considering coming over to the country park. We hope to be back on 14th March!
We can't wait to see the new facilities ☕️🍰
