3-3 at the VG Cup today. Had good momentum but lost in the 3rd round to something stupid. Had a 100% win con but played the coin flip instead and lost. Never really recovered.
Top cut a local yesterday. I was the only one that made it in that has never made a day 2 😅.
I want to say that is indication I am getting better, but I actively felt my gameplay was sloppy. I managed to close it out to top 8, better than what I set out to do!
Third favorite main line games, but very fond of this generation as it was the start to my competitive Pokemon journey (non-VGC formats)

Repost and reply for a chance to win a San Francisco Giants Pokémon Worlds Night jersey!
ALT Detail shots of a Pokémon World Championships-themed San Francisco Giants jersey. The jersey has a logo on the left chest featuring a Poké Ball, the Golden Gate Bridge, a boat sailing in the San Francisco Bay, and a Latios flying overhead. The jersey also has a logo for the Pokémon World Championships 2026 on the right sleeve. The back of the jersey features Pikachu wearing a crown and a cape as well as a silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Overall good changes and recognition of community outcry. Looking forward to seeing Pokemon working towards their long term goals.
