Hyperscape Revival.
Game feels exactly as I left it (perfect).
Singleplayer works for now, will be awhile before anything multiplayer works (could be months or even years). Early alpha/private for now.
Reach out to me if you have reverse engineering experience and want to help.
Vince's story separating from Acti and starting Respawn was the whole reason I started doing content. I wanted to switch to PC gaming from console, so I could play whatever it was his team made at the highest quality I could. I only briefly met him once. Best wishes to his fam.
We're heartbroken by the passing of our founder and dear friend Vince Zampella.
Vince was a titan and legend of this industry, a visionary leader and a force who shaped teams and games like Call of Duty, Titanfall, Apex Legends, the Star Wars Jedi series and Battlefield for our community in ways that will be felt for generations.
His impact reached far beyond any one game or studio. We will remember Vince for how he showed up every day, trusting his teams, encouraging bold ideas, and believing in Respawn & Battlefield. Most importantly, he championed what he believed was right for the people behind those studios and our players because it mattered.
We will miss him greatly.
Our hearts are with his family, friends, and all who love him.

Sometimes people throw around terms like "industry legend" to describe famous game developers, but Vince Zampella was genuinely legendary.
Most people have no idea how influential the man was. Director on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Co-creator of Call of Duty. Then he shipped the iconic first two Modern Warfare games. If he had ONLY done all that, he would be an "industry legend."
And then Act 2 of his career was arguably even crazier. He flipped the bird to Activision after they tried to wriggle out of a contractually-owed bonus, started Respawn (taking with him a huge chunk of the MW2 team in the process!) and then shipped Titanfall 1 & 2, Apex Legends, and two of the best Star Wars games ever.
That we won't get to see Act 3 of Vince Zampella's career is a tragedy. Pray for his family.
They have to post this trash knowing everyone's going to hate it, but thinking the hate engagement is worth it right? They can't possibly be this dumb?
