The masses perception of mental hospitals and people with mental illness is controlled by the media, local governments and Hollywood. Most movies and media in general paint people digging into conspiracy or government corruption as crazy or schizophrenic - it’s usually the whole plot. Do I really need to make a list? They use this perception as a tool for control. Say too much and you’re “being insane” and need to be evaluated. Mental hospitals are full of the most down-to-earth and relatable people that you’d ever meet. Yes - There are some genuinely insane people and it’s really sad, but that’s not the overwhelming majority of patients. Most diagnoses are complete bullshit and are made within the first 5 minutes of looking at you. You’re put on one of a few standard prescription medication packages that dull your soul and ruin your life. Most mental patients are there because they pressed a little too hard against the power structure or they happen to actually be targeted individuals. It’s time for people to see just how much they’ve been experimented on. That time is coming..
