Hey @elonmusk , remember when you posted that photo of your nightstand and there was a revolver on it? Was that revolver real? I have a really good idea as to what you should do with it.

This is the moment that won Lula the runoff: Bolsonaro: "Why did 60% of the prisoners vote for you???" Lula: "I want 100%, including your father!!!"

I think these guys might be begging for a suicide by airstrike or something because what the fuck is this lol.
North Korea appears to have deployed 122mm self-propelled artillery along the coast of Kaepung County, near the inter-Korean border. The weapons’ apparent open positioning is highly unusual.

Obviously there are issues with American schools but you'll never get that insane amount of resources allocated to extracurricular activities, night schools, and tutor programs because these activities are mostly wasteful and that money could be spent in more productive areas.
Striking detail in the big NYT piece on Taiwanese families adjusting to working at the huge new TSMC chip plant in Arizona: their surprise at the lack of rigor in US schools.

A few things 1) The AI overview cites YouTube videos lol 2) Koreatown accounted for $400 to $500 million dollars of damage with thousands of businesses destroyed 3) "read a book" should take his own advice

The far-right perpetually worships things they don't understand. Spartans, Templars, etc.
It's so funny how the the right glorifies the "rooftop Koreans" because they failed to stop the looting of koreatown, killed a Korean teenager in a friendly fire incident, and many of the original Korean shopowners have expressed deep regret for their actions.

What is the problem here? She was cited for violating the law and everything remained calm and respectful? I guess conservatives just like when people can kill animals without concern.
Take this as your reminder that game wardens are awful people.

By "Back in the day" he means when the Democrats represented agrarian segregationists.
MICHIGAN VOTER: "Back in the day when my parents were Democrats, they represented the working class. They've lost that. They've moved so far to the left." "We love our country. We don't want to lose it. That's the truth."

Meanwhile, one of the most harmful policy movements in America right now is a property tax revolt that is shifting us away from our most economically efficient tax, all so property owners can have a little more in their pockets next month. xitter.cf/sigmahamster2/status/2…
Only property owners should vote. Owning property ties your financial future to the country’s future. I want voters asking what a policy does to the next twenty years, not just what it puts in their pocket next month.

"If you vote in your interests you shouldn't get to vote"
If you receive welfare, you shouldn’t get to vote because you'd be a single-issue voter on maintaining and increasing your welfare, plus voting for any party that promises to do this.

Ethics aside, this take could use some contact with reality. Biden's expanded CTC didn't motivate recipients to vote to maintain it. Trump offered $5000 checks and it hurt him in the polls. The empirical claim that welfare creates single issue voters just doesn't hold up.

Also, these guys never talk about how the LA Korean community was angry at the LAPD for abandoning them in favor of protecting wealthier white neighborhoods. They'll never mention about the systematic discrimination and bigotry Koreans faced that led them to this point.

They'll just use the trauma and pain of the Korean community to justify their memes and never truly engage with an historical or economic or cultural substance. Korean American and black American organizations have spent decades trying to build empathy between each community.
