We're back with our first returning tournament!
Buffalo Wild Wings in Bakersfield will be hosting the return of Full Combo Fights on November 21st, 2026! We'll be playing 4 games for this one: Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, 2XKO, and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls! We've also got some awesome news:
THIS EVENT IS AN OFFICIAL 2XKO COMMUNITY EVENT!
Connect your Riot account to your StartGG profile to earn in-game rewards in 2XKO, including exclusive avatar gear and an exclusive title!
As always, make sure to register early so you can get a $5 discount on your venue fee. We can't wait to see everyone again, and keep an eye out for more announcements for future tournaments with even more games!

Disappointed by the lack of Street Fighter updates at EVO France? That's ok, we've got you covered. Some of you might know me as Chris, some might know me as HB|TwilightStorm, some might know me as the streamer from Bakersfield. Today, I'd like to introduce myself in my new role.
Darrell Miers, the owner of Full Combo Esports, is retiring. He is the reason Full Combo has been able to bring so much FGC hype up and down California. While he'll still be around on occasion to bask in the aura of the community, Full Combo will need a new owner. I am happy to announce that I will be picking up the controller and pressing "Yes" on the continue screen.
I have been running tournaments in Bakersfield since 2009, and I've worked with many organizations and companies for tournaments all across California. I plan on keeping Full Combo on the same trajectory it has been going in, proving monthly tournaments in each of the 3 California regions (SoCal, CenCal, and NorCal). I will be partnering with other TOs for some exciting collabs, and planning other events that I can't wait to share with you.
Our first event back will be in November, so stay tuned as I get more info on that. I'm also happy to announce that we will be returning to Buffalo Wild Wings Bakersfield as well! And again, if you go to an event and you see Darrell, make sure to say hi and take some pictures with him!
See you in the bracket,
Chris "FCE|TwilightStorm" Guillen

Today I am making an announcement of one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make in my life.
For unignorable mental health reasons, I will be withdrawing from the SWC 2025 finals tournament for Samsho.
To put it most simply - mental health is worth more than $250,000.
I need to start working on myself now. Not after the finals.
I was dedicated to attending the finals and playing my best even if I got last place, but unfortunately I am not in a place where I can reasonably do so.
I am ashamed and dismayed to distract my friends and fellow competitors from their preparations for the tour finals by making this announcement public.
I was looking forward to meeting and playing with my friends in international community and I saddened to lose this opportunity.
I am more proud of the keepsake in the below image than any trophy. This is a personalized gift from my friend and Japanese community organizer @omega_daisy to my trip to Japan 2024. This is the greatest ever expression of my dedication to the love of playing the game, not winning at the game.
The former goal was to win as many trophies and as possible, drop them on a random table in my bedroom and then repeat the cycle over again.
My current goal is to love the game again.

Fell off a little short of making top 8 at Final Kombat but I'm proud of my boy making it to the big leagues with all the other adult gamers on the line up!! Started this journey winning a small local, online, then a major Tournament, and getting to Final Kombat! What a journey!
