I don’t know if those who are categorical that there can be no miracles in elections are following the happenings in Serbia and Brazil. Im super encouraged for 2027 because we in Kenya pray to the same God. Inshallah we get ours too.

Designed the digital statement verification during my time at Safaricom in 21-23 and I just realized they have it on MyOne App 🤩
It’s the reason you no longer have to go to a customer care center to get your statements stamped btw. We added a watermark, QR code and an alphanumeric code you can verify using USSD.
Would love to know if it’s been useful to y’all and whether I should share the case study

Quickmart's IPO is now effectively half sold to institutions, before the offer has even closed.
With RWC (Redwheel) and 337 Frontier joining as cornerstone investors, four institutions now account for about 48% of the KES 15bn offer:
- UK Government's MOBILIST: KES 1.94bn (13%)
- 337 Frontier: KES 1.94bn (13%)
- RWC LLP: KES 1.3bn (8.7%)
- IFC: KES 1.94bn (13%), still subject to board approval
Three things stand out from the supplementary information memorandum:
1. The minimum subscription looks much more achievable.
The IPO needs at least 75% of the offer (KES 11.25bn) to go through. The three confirmed cornerstones alone cover about 35%. With IFC, it's about 48%. That leaves roughly KES 4–6bn to come from everyone else.
2. The retail pool has been cut from 20% to 12% of the offer.
To make room for the new cornerstones, retail's allocation dropped from 400m shares to 240m (about KES 1.8bn). Cornerstone allocations are not scaled back, so if retail demand is strong, individual investors could get fewer shares than they apply for. If retail is undersubscribed, though, retail investors get first claim on any leftover shares.
3. Foreign money is leading.
Three of the four cornerstones are foreign. Together with the 8% foreign pool, foreign investors could hold more than half of the shares on offer. That's notable at a time when foreigners have been net sellers on the NSE for weeks.

After Yehova Wanyonyi descended upon Padri and dispatched him to Paradiso State Lodge, located along Sayuni Lane for a permanent vacation two weeks ago, the Catholic Church has decided that enough is enough! Some churches have now chained Yehova to the cross, In case he gets any funny ideas about sending another Padri to meet his Maker.
As if that is not enough, Padris are now preaching while wearing helmets. The Gospel is being delivered, but with full protective gear. Hii ni Maajabu ya Musa kabisa🤣. The agents of Yehova Wanyonyi are now living in fear. Nobody wants to meet their Maker before their time. Kama kawa sisi walala hoii hatuna maoni, Letu Jicho tu.👀

A trader in Kitengela, Kajiado County was left bewildered after a customer allegedly pulled off a bizarre con trick that was caught on CCTV.
The shopkeeper claims the man picked several items and was handed the goods along with KSh 900 in change. The customer then protested that the prices were too high, returned both the items and the KSh 900 and demanded his KSh 1,000 back.
The shocking twist? According to the shopkeeper, the man had never paid any money in the first place.
The trader suspects the stranger may have used scopolamine popularly known as “Devil’s Breath,” although this has not been independently established. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
