This is actually so sick lmao. Tony Hawk, Bam Margera, and a skate ramp outside the NYSE on Wall Street is a crossover I never expected to see in 2026. Funny how the timing lines up with an idea I've been working on 👀 TOPSKATE Episode 1 this week… maybe 🤔

Does anyone else trade better on their practice account than their actual account? 😂 I normally stay away from gap fills and Sunday open setups, but I liked how this one was shaping up and decided to take a stab at it on the practice account. Ended up being a great trade. Regardless, a rep is a rep. The goal is to build consistency, and every opportunity to execute is another chance to sharpen the process. 📈

This is exactly why I’ve grown to love TopstepX. The @Topstep API opens up so many areas from ✅️ Custom charting ✅️ Automated strategies ✅️ Backtesting ✅️ Risk management tools ✅️ Video Games (No seriously I even saw someone make a game utilizing it 💀) Can’t wait to see what the community builds with this :)
I’ll be dropping a full “unofficial” TopstepX API starter kit next week that will let anyone interested in trying algorithmic trading or building their own charting, journaling, risk management tools etc. do so as easily as posting one prompt into Claude Code or GPT Codex. It’s not as hard or expensive to start experimenting as some might think, but I’m going to make it as frictionless as possible.

Been building out my @Topstep workflow, and here's another addition: a custom Level Plotter built using the TopstepX platform. • Customizable line widths • Display levels as zones • Support for multiple tickers Making my favorite trading platform even better 🫶 Better yet it doesn't even need the API :)

This is incredibly predatory. @Topstep, let alone any reputable prop firm, wouldn’t tolerate affiliates engaging in this kind of behavior. When your marketing ecosystem incentivizes affiliates to line their pockets at the expense of trader education and transparency, that’s a serious problem. Firms need to be held accountable for the behavior they reward and the people they choose to represent them. Yesterday, he claimed to be on account #45. Today, he accidentally posted a screenshot showing account #819 before quickly deleting it. If that doesn’t raise red flags, what does? Traders deserve better. SMH.
WOWWWW 💀💀💀 Turns out @lanto_trades wasn’t on account 40 and his total spend wasn’t $21k. He was on account 819. 🤡 Let’s do the math. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of those accounts were the $50k Instant, which is $1900 a pop with the 5% discount. $1900 x 819 =$1,556,100 That would be a 1 million net negative loss. Let’s instead assume he’s trading evals. $50k evals are $707.75 x 819 =579,647.25. That’s about breakeven. At BEST, he purchased 819 $25k evals. $356.25 x 819 =$291,768.75. That’s a profit of $97,147. Nothing to sneeze at but a far cry from half a million $. What we can’t calculate are the affiliate commissions he made. 20% of every single purchase. And if he has an affiliate sub-line, he’s banking off of their sales too. Again — he is peddling a false narrative and selling discord mentorships based on his trading acumen, which, as it turns out is nothing but YOLO trading with affiliate commissions and discord memberships. He did it with futures and he’s doing it with perps. What is he even doing on @NTLiveMedia? This is a joke. Amazing job revealing the truth @jmutrades. People should know they’re being lied to and deceived. And prop firms shouldn’t celebrate a guy who is a fraud, plain and simple.

WHAT THE FUCK! The amount of “affiliates” push @VestExchange is insane. Most are net negative on it and begging their supporters to use their code so they can make up the money they’ve lost 🤯🤣 Should I give it a try and document it all? With account numbers and screenshots? 🤔

Everyone's fighting today, so let me say what nobody wants to hear. Spending $90K to make $120K is not a $120K win. It's $30K profit on $90K of risk. But all you see is the payout screenshot. That's the problem. Showing only the payout sells FOMO. It makes newer traders think the goal is to buy accounts until one hits. That's not trading. That's a slot machine with a chart on it. I tell my community this all the time. And account numbers don't tell you the spend either. 400 accounts at $10 each is $4,000. 400 accounts at $1000 each is $400,000. Same account number, completely different story. The only thing that matters is what someone spent versus what they got paid. It's all about ROI. And you're not playing the same ball game. Someone risking $90K to make $120K might have far more capital behind them than you. I know people who've made $1 million in a day and lost $1 million in a day. Risk tolerance is different for every single person. Copying someone's size without their bankroll is how accounts and savings disappear. Transparency or not —you don’t have the same risk tolerance, experience, or goals. Then there's the account editing. Fair point, but aim it at the trader, not the prop firm. There are valid reasons to rename accounts, like grouping them by size or drawdown to keep track of everything. It's their dashboard. The firm gives flexibility. What someone does with that flexibility is on them. Same with payout wallets. People can show other people's wallets. I know, shocker?! Approved affiliate money sits in those wallets too. A screenshot proves nothing about whether someone can actually trade. Now the other side. Calling out transparency is fair, but it has to go both ways. Not everyone in this space trades, and that's fine. Comparisons, reviews and education all bring value. There are many who provide nothing aside from shilling a code. But if you're judging someone's trading results, it helps to have been in the seat yourself. It's easy to read a screenshot. It's a lot harder to sit through the drawdowns behind it. And affiliates themselves aren't the problem. Firms need them. Google ads and celebrity posts cost a fortune and don't reach traders. That's money that would never make it back to the trading community, and less money left in the firm to pay traders out. Traders reach traders. That's why affiliate programs exist. Some of you forget the money is a cycle. Even the big gamblers burning through accounts are putting money back into the firms, and that money helps fund the payouts for consistent traders. You can bash affiliates all day, but without them 99% of you wouldn't even know what a prop firm is. The line isn't trader vs affiliate. It's value vs noise. New traders, I get the FOMO. That's exactly why you need to understand all of this. I've been in this space since 2019 and I've seen it all. Faked IRS and broker statements. Edited "live" login videos that got exposed because someone went through them frame by frame. AI-generated login videos. The sooner you accept that someone else's numbers will never replicate yours, the better off you'll be. In fact, mute them, you’ll thank me later. So stop with the bs and stop glazing people over screenshots. Be careful who you trust and who you surround yourself with. Find someone who actually teaches and learn it properly. Otherwise you'll be out the door in a few months.

Probably how vest brings on new affiliates Imagine being able to rename accounts to remove or change the account number just to shill a predatory un regulated Panama based perps firm to your following that hasn't even been around for a month Disgusting tbh 🫣
THIS is how you turn a pledge into a slag (scholar, leader, athlete, gentleman) #rushpike #pikespike #uark #spank #glorytotheidf

This! @Topstep doesnt need the standard affiliate packages because their reputation speaks for itself Unlike Vest who's only relevant because they pay your favorite influencers / shills to promote their garbage to you
Why almost nobody promotes TopStep? because they don’t have openly available affiliate program let that sink in

Only popular because the curtain hasn't fallen yet ✅️ Unregulated assets ✅️ Based out of Panama ✅️ Constant inconsistencies ✅️ Blatantly manipulating price ✅️ Relies on affiliate shills I could go on but tdlr a rug in the making
I tried one of these "perps" prop firms, trading XYZ100 $1,000 profit on a trade, $600 of it went to fees. Account equity at $50,400 On regular NQ my equity would be at $50,950 I can say this because I don't suck on the affiliate code tit Total fucking scam IMO

First trade this week. +$2,093. Been focused on building out my workflow utilizing the @Topstep API and becoming more selective with my setups. This one was too good to pass up. $50K Static now ~75% passed. Reminder to myself: you don't need to top or bottom tick to make money. Take your piece and move on.

Topstep is making 6 Labs drops permanent. Max 5 per trader, per month. Labs is where they test new accounts for a limited time. These are the first to come out of testing.

This is exactly why @Topstep will always be my forever prop firm. They take care of profitable traders while giving beginners the educational content, trader-focused tools, and risk management resources they need to actually develop as traders. They're building better traders, not just selling accounts. That’s the difference.
lol theres been no futures firm that has banned me besides mffu, i withdrew over 300k from topstep and didnt get banned, at 50k on mffu i got banned, stop larping

Can't wait to (hopefully) trade onion futures on my @Topstep static accounts here soon 🧅📈 No way they make me cry more than NQ does 😳
Amazingly, onions are the only American agricultural commodity explicitly banned from futures trading. This is thanks to an overzealous federal reaction to Chicago-based market manipulation in the late 1950s. Now these heroic UChicago students are campaigning to overturn the Onion Futures Act of 1958.

Why are we glorifying the ability to lose 50%+ of our drawdown in a single session? If you’re risking more than 50–60% of your max drawdown in a single day, let alone a single session, how sustainable is your trading approach really? Sure, if your goal is to rinse prop firms, having access to your entire drawdown with no DLL might technically give you a higher pass rate. But passing an eval isn’t the same as developing a sustainable approach to trading. The amount of traders I’ve spoken to who believe a DLL has SAVED their accounts is bar none compared to the amount of furus on X pulling the victim card because their account has a daily loss limit or xyz firm added incentives to the DLL plans. Think about that. You’re upset that a firm is stopping you from trading after you’ve lost more than 50% of your TOTAL allowed drawdown in a single day? A DLL isn’t necessarily there to scam you. It can be there to protect you from yourself on your worst days. We should be glorifying risk management and consistency, not glorifying the ability to blow through half your drawdown in one session and calling a firm a sham when it prevents you from doing it. Passing is one thing. Staying profitable and managing risk over the long run is another.
