This is absolutely insane We all knew it was biased towards Reform but to see it like this And yet people accuse Question Time of being “A lefty show” @bbcquestiontime this is embarrassing I’m afraid Thanks Don 👍

🚨 Ukraine has gathered clear proof that Starlink is being ordered to scupper Ukrainian operations. It is horrific betrayal. This is why all US technology needs to be replaced by European technology for critical European systems - UK included. ALL of it.
Latest: Zelenskyy tells reporters over WhatsApp that restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink systems remain. Interceptor drones can't function, logistics and operations hobbled. The maximum speed is 161 kph; "exceeding this limit causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone." He says Ukraine has done tests to determine whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as has been told Kyiv by the US side, or if this is a "deliberate operation... to restrict us, cut us off, and prevent us from defending ourselves and protecting our people, both at the front and among the civilian population." He says Ukraine "sent a couple of vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals into European Union territory." "They moved at speeds exceeding 180kph, and the Starlink systems worked perfectly. We have the relevant logs and evidence to prove this." He adds: "The conclusion is clear: the restrictions are in effect within Ukraine but do not apply within the European Union. In other words, this is a planned operation."

Zelenskyy: "I will continue to bomb Russian Data Centers." Republicans: "Zelenskyy is attempting to interfere in the US midterms." Me: What an odd thing to say.

Having to defend your country against Putin is bad enough. Having to defend your country from Trump at the same time is unbelievable. Many prayers for @ZelenskyyUa

😮 Good God. Even The Telegraph is printing the economic case for undoing Brexit. Goldman Sachs says rejoining the Single Market could make the UK economy up to £150bn larger. For years we were told Brexit would unlock growth. Now the growth opportunity being discussed is removing the barriers Brexit created.
Rejoining the EU’s single market could boost the UK’s economy by as much as £150bn, Goldman Sachs has claimed. The Wall Street bank told clients in a note that there was “significant economic upside from ‘Breturn’” as it backed Andy Burnham’s calls for closer ties with the bloc ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/business/202…

‼️ Boston voted more than 75% Leave 🔥 the highest Leave vote in Britain. Ten years later, residents tell the i that jobs are still scarce, public services still struggle, immigration has not disappeared and life has not noticeably improved. One Leave voter says: “It’s made no difference, has it?” Another admits: “We’re a poorer country than we would have been if we’d stayed in.” That tells us something important. People in places like Boston weren’t wrong to be angry. They had been living with decades of economic decline, low wages and disappearing industry. But the EU wasn’t the cause of those failures and Brexit didn’t cure them. The real task now is bigger than simply rejoining Europe. We need to rebuild Britain at home while rebuilding our relationship with Europe abroad. That is how you finally address the grievances that produced Brexit in the first place.

There’s not much Burnham can do to ingratiate himself to me. But getting Farage, Johnson and Gove held accountable for Brexit, Russian bungs, appointing Russian agents to the Lords would be the thing. Because it’s long, long overdue.

Further to my Brexit survey that showed 70% voted BREXIT has been bad for us. To add insult to injury it has recently come to light according to our PM that allegedly there was foreign intervention in the Brexit vote. What is not clear was the intervention distortion for or against Brexit. Either way if this is true then we least need to have another vote. The SME's have suffered enough.

I’m not going to agree with Andy Burnham on everything, but this statement needed to be said by a Prime Minister. After the Conservatives suppressed the truth for years, this took courage.
Andy Burnham becomes first PM to confirm Russian interference in Brexit referendum @campbellclaret and @RoryStewartUK's exclusive interview with @andyburnham on tomorrow's episode of Leading is out in full at midnight.

Russia used 150,000 Twitter accounts for Brexit There was 45,000 tweets with the majority encouraging people to vote Leave a few days before the 2016 vote These accounts had previously focused on Russia's annexation of Crimea, before focusing on Brexit businessinsider.com/russia-u…

‼️ If the Prime Minister has now been told that Russia interfered in the 2016 referendum, the public is entitled to know what happened, what the intelligence services concluded, who was involved, and why the evidence was not properly examined and disclosed years ago. We need a public inquiry to examine what government knew about foreign interference, when it knew it, what intelligence existed before and after the referendum, what advice ministers received, and whether Parliament was given a materially incomplete picture when Theresa May served Article 50 notification.
So, a British PM finally confirms what many suspected for a long time- direct interference from the Kremlin on Brexit vote. So- is this the point we not only undo Brexit ? And is it time to haul Johnson May and the whole shebang in front of the courts for deliberately withholding this information from Parliament and the public?? They knew - the referendum result was unsafe but still she and then Johnson persisted with it and wouldn't let Parliament discuss it. Is there consequences? And - Remind us about the roles played by Aaron Banks, Steve Bannon, Nigel Farage, Cambridge Analytica, Murdoch, Trump in advancing Russian interests by severing Britain from Europe?!?! With DISASTEROUS consequences.

‼️ This is a constitutional bombshell. For the first time, a British prime minister has confirmed that UK authorities believe Russia interfered in the 2016 Brexit referendum. That does not prove Russia changed the result, nor does it establish criminal involvement by Leave campaigners. But it confirms that a hostile state attempted to interfere in the most consequential democratic decision Britain has taken in generations. The 2020 Russia Report could not reach a conclusion because the government had neither commissioned nor supplied a proper post-referendum assessment. Boris Johnson’s government then rejected the Intelligence and Security Committee’s request for one. Andy Burnham must now publish an unclassified account setting out: • what Russia did; • which voters and organisations were targeted; • how extensive the operation was; • what ministers and intelligence agencies knew; and • why the truth was withheld for so long. Nobody can credibly insist that the decision of 2016 is eternally sacred while simultaneously arguing that the public must never be allowed to reconsider it, especially now that Russian interference has been officially confirmed. Brexit was authorised by a referendum conducted without these facts. Britain deserves the truth and a democratic opportunity to decide its future again.

They spent FOURTEEN years destroying the fabric of society, then they have the cheek to criticise Labour for trying to clean up their mess. Never forget that EVERYTHING that's broken in this country is the fault of the Tories...so blame them, not the ones trying to fix it.

Just so there's no confusion. Scrutiny of Nigel Farage's acceptance of a £5m gift is legitimate. Scrutiny of Nigel Farage's £5m gift will continue. Attempts to bully journalists and others into abandoning that scrutiny will fail.
