Interestingly in Dee’s diary of 1588 he mentions that Kelley was distilling sericon (from Halliwell, 1842, p26) Greek text below on 19th translates to “he concluded wise, accounted with friends, under divine protection.” And then Dee’s son was born on the 28th! Wonderful stuff
