Friends, as the decentralised social network that is Mastodon increases there are more of the linked servers available, which are listed at fediverse.radio/
Asking the ARRL for another LoTW certificate because you lose your proof of identity if you replace your OS. Talk about make work for yourself.
Mastodon.radio has had a huge influx of people over the last week, not only those that are moving on from Twitter but also those that are just having a look. It certainly brings focus to your amateur radio social media.
A little NanoVNA action this afternoon cutting these two to length. Now to put a loop on the end of each and get them in the #ParksOnTheAir and #SummitsOnTheAir bag.
As an owner of two FT-857s and two FT-8900s, I can totally relate! Two is one, one is none ..

Photo Friday: RSGB National Radio Centre was recently registered with Parks on the Air as G-0507. Glen, KC2DWG from Illinois USA set up portable system using Buddipole antenna to operate outside NRC. Made over 10 QSOs across both 40m & 20m bands with stations in UK & Europe #hamr
Listening to KW5CW being a #ParksOnTheAir CW machine on 20m, damn I need to do more. If I wasn't in an airport I'd try and work him.
WebSDR is a really great tool for practicing reading Morse code. Sitting in the airport, with a 3 hr layover getting some solid listening in, and the head copy is coming along nicely.

On October 11 we extracted the largest single catch for System 002 to-date; 10,086 kg of plastic removed from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch after only 6.5 days, bringing us to a total of 145,518 kg extracted so far.
Dammit my FT-817 charger is 230v input only. Guess I won't be charging the radio on this trip. A good reminder about assumptions though. Doh.
