Impressive coastal flooding generated from astronomically-driven king tides (higher high tides that occur when the Moon is in Full/New phase and close to Earth in perigee distance).
In addition, a gusty and persistent northeast/onshore wind across the Florida east coast generated from low pressure over the Bahamas and high pressure centered over the northeast U.S. Similar conditions expected tomorrow! #flwx

Iris Nebula (NGC 7023) is a reflection nebula in the constellation Cepheus, located about 1,400 light-years from Earth. It is illuminated by the bright star SAO 19158, which is surrounded by dense clouds of interstellar dust. This image was captured during the night of October 17–18, 2026, using a Seestar S50 telescope with the IR-cut filter. The data were collected using live stacking of 242 × 30-second exposures, for a total exposure time of 2 hours 1 minute. Final post-processing was performed in the Seestar S50 app.

Guardate bene questa immagine perché è davvero straordinaria.
Ci mostra Mercurio mentre transita davanti al Sole. E in effetti potrebbe sembrare davvero così! 😀

Ann Wagner is doing a media tour this week....really. Telling them how this was her plan to wait until the end when people are paying attention. She's right. About 100 people in Truesdale in Warren County showed up last night to hear from the candidates. We could be there in person, send a video, and/or send team members to man a table. Ann did none of that. She skipped it. Yes, people are paying attention. After she's burned $5.7 million to try and stay in office...she can't even bother to cut a video for her own constituents. She is a coward.
