What a fun one up here in Gloucester, MA. Mass really does have such a deep roster so these smaller privates often go under the radar and what a treat it is.
Designed by Herbert Leeds, the same man to design Myopia Hunt Club and very few others - you can tell by its short, quirky routing and bunkering. Stretching out to only 6,000 yards - you could try and bomb and gouge the course but they are very narrow windows with the the fescue and besides, it’s all about these postage stamp greens with crazy undulation!
God bless, happy 4th everyone!
Is this a crazy idea? You start collecting SOCIAL security… if you choose to continue to work part time, say less than 30 hrs a week, you don’t have to continue to pay into the system.
Up next… Republicans are trying to keep women and minorities from driving, having a bank account or getting a job. Getting a passport is racist! I can’t believe (sarcasm) I had to go to the post office with my documents, get interviewed and then wait 6 weeks to get a passport!
Need to find an old John Deere 8800 rotary deck. My distributor says it’s discontinued and can’t help me. Anyone know someone who might have something in their boneyard? I hate to not be able to use a 5 gang rough mower simply because the deck is shot. Just need the shell
Dear NFL,
Protect the QB behind the line of scrimmage but if you are going to run for positive yards, you are fair game. Got to find a way to take judgement out of the penalty calls. Defense should be given something
Pretty happy with this 7 days post aeration with 3/4” tines. Looking forward to drying things out now after a bunch of heavy rainy days. Love Labor Day Weekend 🇺🇸☀️

Glad we put these drains in the 11th green. What a ⚡️ show last night; somewhere between 0.95-1.3” depending on which gauge you look at
I ❤️ #OpenChampionship courses! Call me a purist but these old school courses in the UK are SO special. Not many places like them here in the US. So much character, awesome bunkering, real penalties for poor shots and nobody is crying about them. It’s how golf SHOULD be.

A week to remember. ✨
Benedetta Moresco secures low amateur honors at the 78th #USWomensOpen!
Feels good to be done with 2 big projects. Tanto pulled out this week, irrigation complete; I can’t thank Guillermo and his crew enough for their hard work. 2nd hole growing in SO well and ahead of schedule. My staff killing it and looks like rain for Father’s Day weekend
Best of luck this week to the entire team at LACC… the best golfers in the world are in for a treat @usopengolf ! I’ll be looking for some old friends and the fruits of their labor… @lbizzz pass along well wishes to your hubby!

“A few years back, Lakeview HS was having issues with their football field.
They investigated artificial turf but instead hired a turf grass consultant at a fraction of the cost & saved their taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

Final greens mow of the year, VC60 on all approaches followed by a medium topdressing. Looks like the weather switch finally flipped. Leaf cleanup ongoing
