Watching accountants on X clutching their pearls that Claude won't figure out accounting is really something.
A16Z coming with the heat.. " it’s tempting to assume the most junior people will be the strongest adopters, but they lack the experience and context to know what “great” looks like, or what to build." Yes and
Ugh
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard.

If you are were previously enrolled it should either retro or be 2% deduction going forward.
One noticeable Opus 5.5 change: it really shits on the the speed of the old 2-core chromebox that I run my personal agent on - Waiting for it to offer me a discount code for VPS or Mac Mini
I appreciate Ramp saying, we're working on it but it's hard. But I will note the timing after Mercury just said they solved it
Replying to @jasonfreedman
Founder: “Our AI will transform how you work.”
Customer: “I was actually hoping to never think about this task again.”
Was just surprised by one of those GTM - We'll just put a calendar invite and see if you join by mistake tricks.
I responded all (150 emails) - "Don't do this, it's bad GTM"
Was not prepared for the number of OOOs I'd get blasted with
So let me get this straight:
Chinese Frontier AI Model: Best model out there, US companies are toast, they move too slow, too much gov oversight
Chinese Peptides: Can not possibly be safe, can not trust, huge health risk, wait for US regulatory agencies
Essentially, if you feel like you are behind, you know you are in the right circles
ok this 2.2% stat just sent me down a rabbit hole.
a few more numbers i found:
> only 0.2% of U.S. households spend over $100 a month on AI
> only 1% of U.S. adults personally pay for Claude
> only 4% of U.S. adults use AI chatbots almost constantly
> only 6% of U.S. adults use Claude
> only 4.5% have ever had an AI agent complete a task for them
> only 8.3% of U.S. workers say AI lets them do work they couldn’t do before
we are still absurdly early
