I had some Belgian admin to do today. I received my police clearance certificate via email within 4 HOURS of requesting it. I received a follow-up email to a request for my birth certificate within 7 MINUTES of requesting it. Administrations can be efficient. Why not in 🇿🇦?

Oh so unimpressed by my first experience with @getsmarter - I enrolled for a course by @iangoldmansa and @SChapmanEval 2 weeks ago, processed payment last week and followed up numerous times to access the course. Last email received from them was 8 days ago. Since then, silence.

Why, when and how men rape: A study in South Africa among men aged 18-49 finds 27.6% have raped a woman. Most were motivated by sexual entitlement, also boredom & ‘entertainment’, & as punishment against girlfriends and other women. Most had first raped girls/women as teenagers.
